Awesome! This is incredible to hear all these live tracks officially for once! They just get better all the time. P has really turned this classic old hit into something entirely new and fresh!!! I hope people really like that she's talented and not just that she's a famous prince girl now. Like years from now will she be a musician who won't need the "prince relation" like many have to have? Has he ever succeeded in making a star who can REALLY sell out albums? It seems like their fame is attached to his name. | |

It's incredible. What I don't understand is the "trouble" she was into for uploading the performance?? This seems to be ALL Prince's doing. lol. One thing is for certain, he really seems to like Andy! I mean she is everywhere with him now, he really uses her; in FULL effect with the NPG. I think I know what he is getting...

Youtube doesn't know what's authorized or not at this point. They just automatically the stuff they routinely have to pull...and then some of it somehow makes it past their filters. Prince could go on their and post his last wishes, and they'd delete it as a result of the countless cease and desists. | |

Shit, I had been thinking what does this version remind me of - and I realized it's "Yamaha" by The-Dream. That track itself was heavily influenced by "Little Red Corvette" of course, but it had also some different type of keyboard parts that made it sound quite different in the end. Those keyboard parts remind a lot of the additional parts on this new version of "Little Red Corvette". Not saying that Prince necessarily got the idea for those parts from "Yamaha", but I wouldn't be surprised either if he did. If he did then it would be a fun way to comment on the existence of contemporary tracks that ape his sound.
Pure speculation on my part. Don't add it to Wikipedia or some shit.
