He's 52 and she's 28. That's a 24 year age difference And while 28 years old is definitely not a baby, that is still alot of years in between, years where she can change and grow.

To be "dating" a woman that literally could be his daughter, whew, I guess only Rock stars and rich men can do that

She also acts too... she's made several appearances and starred in a couple of shows and did film, she is not only teaching dance classes.

BTW, teaching classes is what most ballet dancers do to pay the bills anyways since dancing doesn't pay tons of money, most dance because they love to dance, they do not do it for the money.

Mayte did lots more than you even care to realize, she just floats under the radar, so to speak. She keeps busy with tons of varied work that includes modeling, film and dance.

I believe many call that beig a "triple threat". This is why Prince was so enamored by her.

Not to dismiss any of the women that worked and continue to work with Prince... they all have a special something going on.

I dont know why she gets such a bad rap for her dancing..or maybe I do know

She was very entertaining to watch and did belly dancing, hip-hop and ballet inspired moves extremely well. That chick was flexible as hell. Hell inspired me to start some yoga classes. If she went to school from the time she was a kid and trained in ballet like Misty, by now I have no doubt that she could have been excellent proffesional ballet dancer.

Give credit where credit is due whether you like her or not. Trying to portray her like she was only just some pretty eye candy or a glorified stripper void of talent is simply untrue.

And yes Misty is completely bad ass.

He's not a predator. He is a lot older than the women he dates and but it's not like he's a child molester or something. Maybe he's just flaunting her talents so people can know her better. Maybe you're taking it the wrong way.

I have tons of personal friends on this site and love the discussions we have at Music:Non-Prince. I rarely ever dip into Prince: Music & More because I have no respect for the man as an artist or an individual. And that's my god given right to feel that way.
