Hi Misty!(aka Reblfleur) we know u are posting.

I have to say I would be shocked if such a driven woman such as Misty was posting on the org. According to Wiki, Misty became an emacipated minor just so she could have control over her schedule and do more dancing.

You don't get to be a soloist with a dance company simply by being catty and looking for opportunities to put your competition down. If anything you keep your mouth shut so no silly catty remarks come back to haunt you.

Misty strikes me as confident. The type of women that post on the web as their own biggest fan are pretty insecure. Misty has nothing to be insecure about. Prince sought her out. She was already a professional and I am sure he is paying her a professionals salary. He can not call her his Protege and think he is doing a no name a big favor and pay her a measley amount.

Also I have heard that Misty has a boyfriend. I don't picture her being so desperate for a rich man that she'll take up studying with the Jehovah's Witnesses either. If Prince truly wants Misty, or an intelligent woman of her rank, he'll need to leave the JW's. The JW's are big on putting your man and your religion first, to the point of only working part time so that you have more time to pass out Watchtowers and do "Field Service". Check it out for yourself.

Girl, I've been seeing ABT for years, and I had no recollection that home girl was patiently dancing in the Corps of ABT for years before that! Lord, my eyes and memory are getting baaaaaaad. Either that or my head is stuck so far up the collective asses of Philadanco, Ailey, and Dance Theatre of Harlem that I'm sleeping on everybody else lol

That being said, yes American Ballet Theatre is one of the most important companies in the nation. Internationally speaking, along with New York City Ballet and San Francisco Ballet, the three of them essentially define the American style of ballet. Copeland is basically in the top 3% of ballet company soloists on the entire North American continent. Anyone remotely familiar with the world of classical dance knows that ain't nothing to sneeze at. Go 'head Misty.

Lovely video. cool

Go 'head Black Swan clapping

She has huge tits for a ballerina. eek

I was about to clown her for that until I learned she didn't start ballet until she was 13 (that's sooooo late). Most ballerinas start between ages 6 and 8, and the rigors of what they put their bodies through stunts their growth. While all them breastes-es ain't the aesthetic ideal in classical dance, now I'm kinda rooting for her tittays to make their historical mark in the dance world; you keep tearing down those boundaries, Gurl. Brown skin, tittays, and all. Hallelujer martini

That's what I was getting at lol I don't get the problem here.

I'm 36 and dated a 25 year old last year...There's a difference. And unless you know her, you are assuming she is mature. Just as I am assuming she isn't (nor is she accomplished in her career)..why? Cause she's already taken the oppurtunity to promote her ass by jumping on stage with him. All of this leads me to think he is following the same arse tired trends he always does with his girlfriends. And yes, this is all just my personal opinion and you and everyone here are free to disagree...It ain't no big deal till someone like Shorty comes along and acts all butthurt over a differing view. shrug

I was curious about Prince and the teenage girls. I did a lot of looking up people on Wiki.

During the sign of the times period, Prince was doing Sheila, Susannah, Robin and Cat. None of them were minors and only Susannah may have been a teenage virgin when he met her, maybe and maybe not.

Now the next crew is Nona, Anna, Mayte, Martika, and maybe Kim Basinger.

Mayte and Anna are only a month apart and Nona is less than a year younger then they are. That means he was doing the "I only want to feel you up" thing with all of them at exactly the same time. He popped Anna's cherry a month after Mayte's and Martika said that he was her Cherry Popping Daddy when she was 21, she was 21 around the same time.

Once he decided which virgin was going to be his next wife that was it. There have not been any stories of bathing teenagers since these 3 became legal.

Kim was his strangest lover, 5 years his senior, blonde and blue-eyed, and already a nationally known celebrity, she is unlike any other of his ladies.

So, my point is his Cherry Popping Daddy routine seemed to end about 20 years ago and was a stage he went through. I think he basically wanted an untouched virgin for a wife. Manuela was also most likely a virgin, but like Martika she was over 21 and picked to be his perfect MaryAnn to go with his new Jehovah Witness faith. They got baptized together.

Anyway to keep thinking of Prince as a petifile 20 years later seems a bit unfair to me.

There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

The first thing is that Misty being his girlfriend is nothing other than heresay at this point and a few appearances on one song in Prince's W2A mini-tour doesn't equal a trend just yet.

Secondly, I'm not sure what your definition of accomplished is but the American Ballet Theatre is one of the leading ballet companies in the country and Misty has been a soloist since '07.

Finally, quite a few accomplished artists have jumped onstage with Prince including Patti Labelle, Chaka Khan, Mavis Staples and more recently, Janelle Monet and Esperanza Spaulding, so your assumptions are way off base.

I have to say, that aging rocker sweeping ballet star off her feet (if this is indeed what's taking place, I'm kind of out of the loop on this romance) is the first "fairy-tale" old-school glamour relationship he's had in like...ever.

It's very way back when. Of the days when models ran off with bullfighters or royalty. Today everyone seems to come off reality shows or sports teams.

This post probably makes no sense. lol

Wow she sounds really humble in this video... Next think u know she is going to be rockin' a blouse with her picture on it like P! LOL

Did u all hear what she said in Tavis' show?

Copeland:

I think that it's incredible, what he's doing. He has so much respect for every art form, and I think it's great that everyone at Madison got to see, who'd probably never seen classical ballet in their life. I think he's doing a great thing, exposing people, and hopefully they'll come to the Metropolitan Opera House and not feel like it's too, I don't know, out of their league or something.

inotherwords.... she is the only classically trained dancer P has ever had on stage alongside him... whoop whoop!

We still like her though, she has the same ego as P but I wonder if this is going to be an issue in the long run.

It is definately unfair. He's dated 2 women that were 17 and he's a pedo? Don't think so. He didn't touch them until they were 18. The rest of his women were well over age and probably not virgins. Prince was a young stud himself when he was with these girls, just barely 30 right? So not a big deal, especially in Hollywood. And I know plenty of folks in everyday life with mates 10-20 years their junior/senior. Not a big deal. I have always dated men at least 10-20 years older than me, except twice, I dated someone the same age and a someone 4 years younger. If you like someone, age/race isn't important at all.

Prince is GORGEOUS. I'm inspired. GOD is GREAT. Is there anything else to say? lol

Yeah, I saw a documentary about how they "do things" to keep "mother nature and puberty" from setting in. They want to keep that flat body. Its weird and sad what the girls do to themselves just to make it in this business. Glad to see Misty didn't do this!

Wrong. Those are not her words at all, that's just your presumption, and an incorrect one.

Mayte did some classical training when she was a teen in Germany, and managed to land a "B" placement there for a short time before she met Prince. She is not the same caliber of dancer that Copeland is, but she at least has familiarity with Ballet technique.

I don't know how old you guys are, but I can tell you that Mayte did bellydance at Prince shows from the beginning til almost nearly the end of the time she was with him, up until about the time he launched her solo project Children of the Sun. When she was in her teens he would pass her off as an Arabian princess for his shows (absolutely cheesy), which was the segue for her belly dancing performances thae eventually led into the second set of his show. At his Club Glam Slam, when she wasn't peformng her solo music and dance work ( a combination of styles including middle eastern dance), the club routinely kept videos of her little groundling dance company's choreography and performances playing on the wall screens continuously...all modern technique, clearly Martha Graham influenced. While I agree once she was of age an they were officially an item she spent a lot of time whipping her hair and tootsie-rollin' across the stage with Prince, it's an outright lie to say that she didn't bellydance during his concerts...considering the fact he featured her doing middle eastern dance for about 6 or 7 years when they toured.

Although I was never intending dance as a career, I studied ballet from age 6 to 16, under Dennis Nahat and later, Janet Ko: Chile I never got breast-es-es until I was nearly in my late 20's and even then it was only after I had gained 30 lbs.

She's impressive. It's pleasant to see the fans approve of a female "protege" for once, it's been a very long time. Don't know about her and a relationship with Prince at this point it's a wait and see. It would be nice to see him with someone closer to his own age, but being from this society the idea doesn't faze me much. Despite the age difference she isn't that young, and she has world experience. She seems to be a very determined and focused person, she'd have to be to start her formal training at 13 and to winning competitions at 15, she's not a passive person.
