I do agree with what prodigalfan says ... (a) about women wanting to minize height discrepancies (in case that she is taller than him) FOR SURE and (b) also about women wanting to feel 'protected' by their man and feel like the man is physically stronger or superior. I know that this is not modern, or politically correct. But that was the old school way. And Prince is old school. He doesn't appear to be a modern thinking man who appreciate a woman's strength and independence.

I've seen this statement sited so many times...that doesn't equate love. Being his favorite model to me is like him saying "she brings me peace or she is dear to me." WTF? That's not how you talk about a GF you love...sorry, it just isn't. However, he may not love her. He may like her, she may fulfill whatever he needs in his life. Something tells me he isn't looking for love and the seriousness that comes with it. HE is focusing on his career, so a good friend with slight benefits may be just what he is after. I always have this feeling, that he is not in love with her.

It's unfortunate for Prince though, because I think he deserves better...as done everyone. He should attempt at looking for a meaninful relationship, because sooner or later, the shallow ones won't do. He is getting older and the looks will fade and the money just won't matter.

And I'm guessing that the chicks realize by now that Prince won't make you a star. So if he is going to get someone to stick by him as he is getting older, he had better start thinking like a man and not like a shallow guy in his 20s that only cares about quick pleasures and a face full of makeup. That doesn't equate love and that is what he should be after, especially at his age.

I have concluded that Prince goes for the kind he goes for because he feels like that makes him important and equates something special. He doesn't think he deserves to be loved for who he really is inside, so he gets with shallow women that want money, fame, etc. And he think that makes him cool, cause he has arm candy. whatever his problem is, it is his and his alone, and if he doesnt want to do anything about it then that is up to him.

chances are he knows full well what he's doing, and is simply going along for the ride wherever his career takes him, with full knowledge he can draw on his real self any time he likes.

i also suspect he doesnt appreciate being viewed as someone so flawed that he needs to be changed.

"she loves me for me" indicates that he is happy to be loved for exactly who he is in any given moment, but ultimately thats a very lazy approach to his personal growth and development.

its one thing to love someone unconditionally, and another thing for him to presume that his bullshit should be tolerated.

if he wants to live out the rest of his days in his dark little underworld of self pity and find shelter in his false public image with candy on his arm then so be it.
