The Prince questions:
1) It's been said that you were upset with Prince expending the Revolution in 1986 because it would become "just another r&b" band. Was the rock/ new wave sound that important to you back then or was it more about the "family's intimacy" being perturbated by new elements? 2) We know lots of outtakes from the Revolution era, from the Dream Factory to The Flesh sessions, and there are also many we've never heard. Is there stuff that you REALLY would like to be released one day (and what is it?), or do you think the best stuff is already out and it's no drama if that material stays in the Vault forever? 3) Considering the personnal tensions and Prince's musical evolution, do you think The Revolution would/could have been Prince's band for a long time if he hadn't disbanded it, or would The Dream Factory have been your last album & tour together anyway? 4) I support the "did you get that phonecall by Prince after the last interview?" question The W&L questions: 5) What about the Indian elements in the Heroes' soundtrack? Was it just an idea you had because of the indian character or have you always been interested in Indian music. Will your music feature more of it in the future? 6) You worked with David Gamson on Me'shell's recordings. Anything to say about him and your collaboration with him? 7) Do you plan to release music more often in the future, like you did at the beginning of your "solo" career, or will it be more like 1 or 2 albums every decade from now on? Many thanks to you both. We love you!

Lisa, when did you stop smoking? I saw the "Automatic" video with you and Jill Jones tying and whipping Prince on a bed. The whole time you have a cigarette in your hand. At one point you're unbuttoning Prince's shirt and the smoke is all up in his face!!! To this day it's hard for me to think Prince would allow someone to smoke in his presence. Why did he let you? Was it all for the "image"?
Any stories about the tour film The Second Coming? Were you guys given copies of all the work you two did with Prince? Music, Videos, etc? Can the unreleased material be released without your permission? Is that why he's holding off on the Roadhouse Garden project? He's waiting for your blessings? Is the song "Song About" about you know who? You guys get sick of all the Prince questions? [Edited 5/15/09 8:17am]

- Would you describe your relationship with Prince back in the old days as friendship, i.e. something more than professional partnership?
- What are your favourite Prince songs? thanks PS: for those who wonder how sick W&L must be about P-related questions, the answer is: if W&L are smart, they are not sick of it at all. Surely they realize they owe everything to Prince and it would be very childish of them not to expect people to be mostly interested in P-related stuff.

How did you feel about having to act in Purple Rain? Had either of you done any acting before? I think you both put in good performances. After Purple Rain were you offered any acting roles?
Do you still keep in touch with Apollonia, Jill, The Time or any of the other associates?

How did your collaboration with Prince on "Planet Earth" go? Was it like "back in the days" or did he just send you tapes so you could add your stuff on it?

1) What do you think about time going by so fast.
2) If you could change things, would you both have become a mom at a younger age and maybe have more kids? 3) How come you are so normal, compared to other musicians. 4) Trevor Horne. Was that album good? Why wasn't it released? I think it is so strange that a man who made music with so many gay bands suddenly acts like a dick to you girls. Isn't there another reason to this? 5) You know eachother from being toddlers. When did you realize you cared for eachother like lovers do? How did that make you feel and how did your families react on that. 6) The two of you were very sexy in the eighties and partners. I can imagine, being in a group and always together, there must have been some tension. Meaning, were there frustrations from bandmembers (maybe P.) who liked the both of you but couldn't get you? 7) Did you have female groupies? Ever been tempted? 8) If you had plenty of money and any musician or orchestra to your disposal, what kind of cd would you dare to make. Purely based on your heart, not what's playable on the radio!

1) There's a commonly accepted notion here that Prince does not visit the org. Being that you're the subject of several threads in the org's associated artists section, do you visit the org to browse yourselves? Do you visit other boards and browse?
2) During your appearance with the Revolution at the 1984/85? American music awards, you sat in the audience together as a band surrounded by several other musical acts. Did it feel strange to be surrounded by them? Did any of them wear too much perfume or talk too loudly? I know David Lee Roth can be heard from miles away if you know what I mean. 3) What's his face from the goo goo dolls once said that when he has writers block, he's actually writing music the entire time--he just think it all sucks. Have you ever written a substantial amount of music, only to be displeased with it and shelve it or start over? 4) When do you know a song is completed? . [Edited 5/15/09 16:26pm]

Hi Wendy & Lisa!
I love you solo work and scoring. The Revolution to me is the greatest band in the world! Has there been any talk about The Revolution getting back together to do a record even if it meant leaving Prince out of the picture? Also: Tour? When? San Francisco please. XOXO Michael Schirmer

Congrats on having another song burning up the dance floor with the remixes of "Williams' Blood" by Grace Jones. The song is unusual for Jones because it draws on her family history. Can you talk a little about the process of writing this track? What was it like to work on such an intimate, autobiographical, work with another artist? [Edited 5/15/09 19:14pm]

Hi Lisa and Wendy, sorry but I've got to go back.... I wondered, what did you think of 'God' when you first heard it? Both the instrumental and vocal.. were you blown away? The instrumental is sublime in my opinion and I absolutely LOVE the vocal, the recorded version, although not many people do! Most people find it scary or just plain weird. I just wondered what your reactions were, are there any stories connected with it? I know Prince recorded it alone and probably before you, Wendy, joined the Revolution... but maybe Lisa was around at that time. Thanks!
Oh, and I LOVED the 'Purple Rain Lady' story, that you mentioned on the 20th Anniversary Disc, that really added another dimension to listening to that song for me.... ... [Edited 5/15/09 22:04pm]

Hi Lisa and Wendy,
here are my questions: Q1: Your two latest studio albums have a much more "alternative rock" sound than the earlier albums. Those earlier albums were more funky, less rock. How has your musical tasty evolved in the years? Can we expect another funky album, since I prefer your funkier side (-; Q2: Both of you were in Prince's band before his big break to a broader audience in 1984. Can you tell us about how you all experienced the process of going from a kind of underground status to being superstars. Did it change you on a personal level? Thanks for answering! I'm going to ask a Prince related questions
If you had never met or worked with Prince, would you have still gravitated towards him and his music and why? What are your words of advice to fans who tend to analyze every intricate detail of Prince's songs, do they really require that or is his message much simpler? Did you ever find yourself trying to understand what he is was trying to convey in a song and find yourself having to just ask him? Did he explain by being even more oblique?
