The .org did some Q&A features a few years ago, but it was one on one. This time around, we're opening up the process to the whole site so there can be more interaction between the fans and the artists. Hopefully, it's an idea that is working and that will carry on.  | |

2. Your distribution method for White Flags Of Winter Chimneys is impressive (various levels of distribution from MP3 to FLAC, CD, and even LP). Can you see yourselves going to a completely download-oriented system, and if so would your older work be made available? |

I once read yours and his criterion for a good new song was if "you'd heard it already". I didn't get a chance to read through all the questions here so apologies if these have already been suggested:
1) Would it ever be possible to make the 'Trevor Horn' sessions available on your own website or are there legal (or artistic) reasons that would prevent you from doing this? 2) Are there any other TV shows (past or present) that you would have loved to work on (without any disrespect to the original composers, obviously). I think you guys would have done a stellar job on LOST, for example. 3) Which period of your work with Prince was the most enjoyable? And which did you feel you had most input into musically, emotionally, etc. From my own point of view, to this day I love the work on 'Parade' and think this is one of his most interesting, complex recordings musically speaking. '...Snows In April' is a particular, enduring favourite and I wondered if you had any stories related to the recording of that song in particular? and a plea, rather than a question: 4) If you have ANY plans to tour in the near future, please conisder Europe as part of those plans (particularly London on a purely selfish level) as there is most certianly a demand to see you guys play live. Lastly, I just wanted to say a big 'Thanks' to the girls for all the fantastic music they have given us over the years and for doing this Q&A. Their openness and honesty in recent interviews has been a delight to read and very insightful, so my hopes for the A's to these Q's is incredibly high! | |

Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman have been releasing their own music since their self-titled debut in 1987. Last year they released their fifth album, "White Flags of Winter Chimneys", on their own label. TV audiences currently hear Wendy & Lisa's music on the hit NBC series Heroes, for which they provide the score. For a period during Prince's purple reign of the 80s, he and "the girls" were seemingly inseparable, appearing together at awards ceremonies and posing together for the cover of Rolling Stone magazine in 1986. For many, Wendy & Lisa are considered a crucial influence on Prince's evolution as an artist. Meanwhile, the pair have certainly enjoyed their own post-Revolution evolution.
