If I was Mayte, I would have been close to a meltdown. She is a resilient woman and I have nothing but respect for her.

She doesn't put him down, or show any ill will toward him when by many accounts she has every reason to do just that. many women could not pull that off.

I dont think Prince left Mayte (or vice versa) over Mani. Yea, Mani is one bad ass chick (looks wise) but so was Mayte. Boredom prolly is the factor, and most relationships (married or not) hit a wall after a while, and you either get through it together, or you divorce. Even if Mani was not in the picture, it would've been another bad ass chick!

So either way, any time somebody "rebounds", people are always going to believe it was because of a third party. It's Prince's own fault along with Mayte's that thier marriage didn't work, and same goes for Prince (yet again) and Mani for their marriage. Unfortunelty, the easiest thing that most people do to get over a relationship, is to start a new one!!!...that's more of an escape goat if you ask me.

All these people (Prince, Mayte, Mani, Eric) needed to re-evaluate themselves, figure out what THEY DID THEMSELVES to hinder the growth of their marriages (it always takes 2), hold themselves accountable, THEN when they ready to start a new relationship, not make the same mistakes!!!

But hey, who does that these days? Very rare...and very sad if you ask me.

Mani an opportunist and predators prey on the weak and wounded. I can't fault him for not handling his relationship with Mayte better, although counseling may have helped. But I do blame him for getting involved with Mani, and I'm sorry but no, that chick knew what she was doing all along and karma proved to be a bitch. she and eric may prove to be a better match b/c they may want the same things and at the same time. i hope she's good to his daughter!

thanks for the hair tips. I have found curls rock by cat walk works, I guess it is some sort of cream based gel (if that makes sense... lol).
but you have to wash/wet the hair daily. Come on... she is EIGHT! I don't have that kind of motivation to get up extra early to wash hair in the AM. And washing it the night before doesn't work, by morning she has bed head. But the poor child is bugging me to let her wear her hair down. If Mani starts a hair line, I would buy it... if it was no good, I would put it with all the other hair care products I have bought and didnt' work.. I could start my own beauty supply store.

You guys forget that Prince was with Ananda Lewis and Mani at the same time.

He was considering annulling his marriage to Mayte.. (don't quite understand that). I felt he married Mani because he wanted kids. I don't quite understand why Mani did not get pregnant. I think she just married him for the money and then took off....
