I'm really disappointed to hear that P didn't show. :disbelief:It seems like he never leaves LA LA land anymore! When was the last time he was even home? Was it last July for the perfume bit? (sigh...)

All I can say is,these were people very important to Prince's career/ friends at one time or another. It would have been 'nice' of him to at least show up, even if he didn't perform. Maybe he could have mended a few bridges too, who knows?

Anyway, Happy 50th P! I still have mad 4 u!!

i don't hold it against the performers and it certainly didn't take away from the amount of fun i had friday night, but yeah - the decision to include prince on the list of scheduled performers was false advertisement at worst, and tacky at best.

like i said earlier, at the end of the day the logistical glitches did NOT ruin the show one bit. we missed sonny, the tyka thing was confusing, and the prince mention was a little irritating, but the show we DID get was top notch.

oh, and i DO remember someone announcing dez's book being available at the merch counter that night, because i remember thinking i'd like to take a look at it...unfortunately, i was four or five sheets to the wind by that point and i didn't quite make it over there...

Thank you Michael and the rest of the band. We had such a good time. I screamed my lungs out like a school girl, and later my throat was sore. It was worth it lol.

The band was amazing and tight. Just wish it could have gone on longer, as if 4 hours wasn't enough. I should do this kinda thing more often.

It was a night to remember. Thank you again.

Our only request would be that you guys add "Lady Cab Driver" to the set. I would LOVE to hear you on drums on that one.

I just don't understand why anyone would want to hear P's sister sing????? I don't get the fascination with the relationship of a P sibling....there is no way I would even see her for free. Who cares! Now the actual musicians that played for P know what that was all about and now the music.... that's different.
