Me and my twin sister bellanoche are so there! I think First Ave is also having a Zappa plays Zappa concert on the 6th. I definitely wouldn't have minded checking that out if tix were still available and the Jamie Star (Prince) party wasn't going on!

I went there last year with Girl66. It was very crowded although I sat in the VIP room. Many talented artists were there. I loved it. I never saw his sister so I might try to go this time again.
I'm not expecting Prince to show up as I would imagine he's on his way to Ireland to set up and everything.

I'm getting really excited and kind of nervous as I don't know what to expect. I'm debating on whether I should wear my cute wedge shoes or not. Comfort might have to beat cuteness. Do you guys think this will be mostly standing room only?

My "gut feeling" is telling me Prince will be there. There are too many things adding up, i.e. everyone coming out of the woodwork, no reference to his birthday (only a "reunion"), Jamie Starr listed as a performer etc.

I called the Cabooze last week and asked the lady on the phone if she could confirm or deny that Prince would be there and she said, " I cannot comment on that". She also said, "There will be many special guests that evening". At the end of the phone call I said," I think you answered my question" and her coy response was," Yep, I sure did".

What I'm wondering now is if something will be going down at Paisley Park after the Cabooze jam if in fact Prince shows up. Could there be one of those legendary late night Paisley Park gigs that I've always heard about but lived too far away (California) to attend? Now that I live 5 miles away from Paisley Park, God, I hope so.
