Although, like I said she did not do anything for P that any other decent back-up singer could have done. Maybe she put it on there simply because she likes that song, regardless of the P associations. Prince still sings songs he wrote about past girlfriends/wives even if they don't speak (I'm presuming he doesn't speak w/all of them anyway).  I figured as much. But considering the grief she's had with P over the years it just seems to me that one would say screw it, I ain't going there with homeboy anymore. Ok gotcha. I didn't keep up with the ins and outs of how WebSheriff decides to punch someones ticket for an alleged violation. I'm just not that interested. Come on people if Prince can rip-off or screw over people he grew-up with or was close to, then this should not surprise you. It's too bad. Maybe if he'd focus on his art he wouldn't be so fucking worried about the past. As an artist myself- I could care less as long as someone wasn't making more money than me on whatever project was put out there. Maybe that's the problem  |
