I find it strange that DJ Rashida seems to barely be spoken of on the org when she's probably the prettiest woman from the Prince camp since Mani. Its odd for orgers who are normally all up in Prince's biz to not mention her very much. Why is that? Is there something I'm missing here? No "Is Prince dating Rashida secretly?" threads?

She's gorgeous, but her DJing is awful... can't mix at all.

I agree with you Blaque. Not only she is beautiful but also talented. I got to say Hi to her at Macy's concert on 07/07/07 and I had to be in line because she had a lot of fan.

She a beautiful women but her DJing sucks and I can't for that life of me understand how she's getting all these great jobs.

I almost want to accuse her of fake deejaying. At the Tamar/Prince show in Miami, she was moving a whole bunch of controls and even making scratch moves but I heard no results of what she was doing, because the music sounded like when you simply play one record and towards then end you put on another record, no mixing or anything. She actually made the wait for the show feel more tiring and longer. I would say that by my third show in Vegas she did improve on some mixes but she still sucked.

I saw her on that dancing contest show on MTV (too lazy/busy to Goggle it) as the DJ, she's cute, since I don't have a clue about what makes a good dj, I can't comment on her skillz. But I am curious as to her role the whole Prince camp, but since we're on blackout I sit and wait like e'erybody else, I guess.

She's not really a "Prince girl", although she resembles Sheila E in the eyes. She's a DJ with all looks, NO SKILLs.

She can't even mix and blend tempos. End of story.

If Prince wanted a skilled DJ 2 mix his songs, along with some other old school funk, etc, then he would've hired DJ Foefur. THAT guy knows how 2 mix Prince.

But yeah, DJ Rashida is fine... just my "type"... but I have a real problem with pretty DJs that can't spin.

I think she is great and she has offered me useful and generous advice everytime I needed it.
It is a bit easy to say that she can't mix, I would love to see you guys up there spinning records
