Rihanna is probably not even familiar with The Time's music. Would rather see them perform without her, I'm glad they are reuniting [Edited 1/25/08 12:34pm]

It's cool for the Time, but it's kind a strange that the Time has to perform at Grammys
The Time has never been a big act even in their prime... [Edited 1/25/08 15:46pm]

Cool...now that's keeping it together, as when you hear of the Time, it doesn't seem the same without Jerome. Glad Jerome will be part of that classic.moment. [Edited 1/25/08 17:31pm]

Great to see one of my favorite bands ever get back together to resurrect the FUNK! Perhaps they'll take the young'uns to school when it comes to Soul and Funk.
But with Rhianna? What the f*** were they thinking? They couldn't get another more talented singer or group that is like a direct descendent of The Time? Like....I don't know..... When they did that funk tribute back in 2004, that seemed cooler since Outkast were inspired by the old school cats like P-Funk and EWF. But Rhianna isn't funky. I don't even hear the slightest bit of that Time flavor in her music. I have a very mixed feeling about this. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

The TIME paired with RIHANNA. The group that defies personality paired the Girl who has no personality, she is totally lifeless. Maybe they will do a take on "THE BIRD" and call it the ROBOT cause thats what she is. Oh wow! I don't care if they are performing with a hobo! The actual old line up of the Time?
Good God, this will be so cool for me! I'm only 16, I never got to see them back in the day. I wasn't even planning on watching before this. (I might have popped in to see Aretha, though) [Edited 1/25/08 21:48pm]

That sounds about right. Saw them perform at a local nite club around that time (Peppers?), when they came to my area. It was either 96 or 97. [Edited 1/25/08 21:45pm]

I lived way up on the northside, Irving Pk. and California. I was right in front of the stage. Really, really white---bright red hair. You may have seen my girlfriend and I fighting over the drumstick. Afterwards, we went to Jew-town and got polishes. It's a small world, after all...
