I went to a Maceo Parker show here in Japan the other night.

Mr. Hayes was on keyboards and Greg Boyer was on Trombone.
I was exited to see several past NPG members up close, funkin’ it up in a small club.
The other musicians were top players too. Unfortunately, the show was short
(about 1 hr 15 min.) and the mood was cold.
Maybe they were tired? (2 shows a day on the Japan tour leg)
They did perform covers of “Baby Knows” and “Let’s Work” and gave a special thanks to Prince.

I talked with Maceo after the show and he was a true gentleman as always!
