That song is the only reason I bought the Pretty In Pink soundtrack. Of my top 10 favorite artists of all time, Jesse is the only one I've never seen live unfortunately.

I LOVE me some Jesse Johnson. Never got to see him live as a solo act but have seen in perform with the Time back in the day!!! This July past for my birthday I treated myself to his greatest hits album and all of the songs and the 12' long versions, sounds great!!!!!

of anything you can find. He always outdoes himself on those versions!!
Don't overlook the "B-sides". Youl find gems like "Free world" and "Fool's Paradise".

I have to agree with you again. All of his B-sides were jams. I still have all of the 45's. I am going to also get the Ultimate Collection b/c I have warn out the CD's/albums that I have by him. I feel sorry for those who haven't seen him in concert b/c he gives P a run for his money for sure.

Did you know that Jesse did the song "HEART TO HOT TO HOLD" with E.G. Daily. She's Chucky on Rugrats. She also co-starred with Pee Wee Herman in his first movie Pee Wee's Big Adventure.Another claim to fame was her hit in the 80's, "IF YOU WANT MY LOVE SAY IT SAY IT."
