THey are one of the few I hope to catch live someday. oh it was very imformative.....a lot of people there.....it was interesting to see how the two of them create their music and how much music creates atmosphere for a film scene.....they would take a scene and start with an instrument and layer and layer till you got this beautiful piece that helps tell a story....they gave an awesome introduction to basic imac/protools and other applications that let you create studio quality work on your puter...shoot, wendy jammed on guitar for bit, threw in some drum loops and layered additional guitar and created an awesome lil tune right in front of us... right after the demo they took Q&A from the audience...the crowd was very attentive and respectful and surpisingly only asked a couple "prince" related question..... one of them had to do with a new album...to our surpise (and lisa's maybe too) wendy announced that plans are underway for a new album.....later on one of our girlbros. spies was able to steal some one on one time with wendy who then shared some inside plans on the working and releasing of the album..... unfortunalty everlastingnow was not able to attend last night and i just want to wish my best to him and his family..... super and madatarsta did make it and i was honored to get to chat with them about life, love and wendy and lisa...it was a great night..... It was nice meetin' ya Madartista and SosGemini and seeing some of the regulars... Supa, J7, Getwild etc. etc. etc.
They were so funny, and politically conscious 
I asked W&L if they had seen "Outfoxed" and Lisa was like "I OWN IT!!!!" A very fun and interesting evening. | |

The album was "already in the works" to quote Wendy. And this was NOT a surprise to Lisa at all. Someone asked what the new record would sound like and Wendy said "I was thinking about this and haven't even told her (Lisa) yet....but I think this record will be smarter than the last one for sure." You misconstrued this as 'Lisa was surprised about a new record'. And we all wonder how the media gets it wrong every time! Wendy went on to say that since they have been working in a medium (scoring television shows and movies) that mostly requires short bursts of very intricate musical ideas, the new record will be informed by that process and be much more detailed and thought-out. That's what she meant by 'smart' unfortunalty everlastingnow was not able to attend last night and i just want to wish my best to him and his family..... super and madatarsta did make it and i was honored to get to chat with them about life, love and wendy and lisa...it was a great night..... | |

They need to get together and finish that Roadhouse Garden Album!! I must say I really miss there sound together...it was pretty impressive. Imagine if the Revolution had made Ten Albums together...would they have been in the top tier of Pop-Rock? Minus Bobby Z..cause he was an alright drummer...and they could have got a better Rock Drummer. But Prince, Wendy, & Lisa really composed well together...Dr. Fink was amusing..and Brown Mark...okay maybe we would need to replace Brown Mark too...but look at Parade..and most of Sign of the Times...Smoking! | |

Thanks for the report. A new platter from the girls would be mighty tasty... Prince really shouldn't be in the mix on one of their projects, they do fine on their own.
I would love to see them work on a Prince CD though. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
