Pet hates on the Org! Is there a personal pet hate you have about the Org?! Something a little bit quirky that irks you and not the general, average Orger?
For me, for some reason, I don't like to see my name on the 'last post by' column. I can't exactly explain why either to be honest!

You click on something and that little blue bar comes up on the bottom of the screen.
You watch it crawl Loading ... slow ... slower... It stops in the middle, and you talk to it, try to encourage it, shake the mouse and pound on the keyboard, but nothing works, than it loads all at once and you know it's coming, it's there, you see it, it makes you angry and impatient, you clench your fists and punch the screen, your head is about to explode off your shoulders and splatter against the ceiling as you read... lol, i hear you, but why do you click on it? (seeing as how i have a big fat starkitty thread right now...) I abhor the argument that 'if you don't like it, don't click on it.' When the org is absolutely cluttered with them, that argument becomes null and void. Remember when dedication threads used to be illegal? I saw the point in that (but did not necessarily agree, sometimes a dedication thread is in order... but I think a person should have certain 'credentials' and live up to certain standards before receiving one... nowadays EVERY newbie with four posts is getting one, it seems). Anyway, threads that are mere banter between TWO people are useless. They are nonsensical. I don't know what the point is, really - to act like you're cool in front of other orgers, because you've created a rapport with a 'cooler' orger than yourself? I mean, like, where is the sun? | |
