In the past year, this forum has changed a lot. We lost a few orgers who appreciated a variety of music styles (including pop) and who loved to post incessantly about all of them. Since then, the majority of threads I've seen in this forum has been pop or 70s soul/r&b type artists.

But, whatevs, people clearly wanna discuss these artisists. I'll occasionally drop in a thread here and watch it sink like a rock. But, mostly, I just have found other forums to discuss my non-p music tastes.

As to your statement, Mr. Despues, I wouldn't necessarily say that a lot of the fans here don't know much beyond pop. But the pop music is what they talk about. Some of the most ardent posters on Madonna and Janet threads have very diverse tastes in music. They just like talking M&J....
