Well I don't blame either of you for wanting to get away from 'Planet Prince©' for a while - I hope it's not a permanent break though.

I Am Here.

I think Prince is just a Jackass when it come to the Fans.

but hey this is how has always been, Remember Controversy Mag fiasco

I have total respect for Aaron. Yes I am upset he took down HQ. But I am glad it WAS his choice.

and NOT a purple pomus prick in high heels

I will not be wasting my money in the future on Prince.

I'm here too. Signed up around 2002 here but did not visit the place very often, cuz I was more interested in HQ for it's layout and subforums. Due to the fact that I could not remember my old username here,I signed up again in 2007. Again: not visiting this place a lot. Nothing bad with the org, but I liked HQ more.
Cool right?
Now we have a choice to come here and get used to it. I for sure have to get used to the layout, something that always holded me back from coming here more. Hopefully a lot of Quakers will join here and continue the great discussions they did on the Quake.

Cheers Mix

I found my way to HouseQuake when the org was down for like a week last year. It is a god send to have some where else "to land"

i think everyone is just shocked and sort of in mourning if you will. It's emotional to have the doors to your second home padlocked with an eviction notice on the door. sad

That's so true. That is 100% a great analogy.

Have I already chimed in here? I was soymilk on the quake.

I miss housequake so much. I just cant get used to prince.org. It's so disorganized x_x. If I want to search for something, it is all scattered around.

It will take me some time to get used to it, but either way I'm glad to be welcome here back again.

This reminds me of the NPGMC shutdown, and of the many of the forum regulars there who suddenly appeared on the org! Of course, most of them disappeared again after they set up their own site. lol

So once again, "welcome all ye strays of the (Prince) world!"

BTW, I was CandaceS at HQ, just as I am here. cool

The big question is: after this latest outrage, how many of us will still spend money on P? In particular, to join his official site?

Personally, it's been a long while since I gave him any of my money. Heck, I didn't even buy the last album! shrug

drummerboi

Hello,

I also want to introduce myself...

I was "TAFKAdboy" / "drummerboy" (I messed up my "drummerboy" account, so I had to register again as "TAFKAdboy") on housequake.com.

I have to say that I am very sad about Aaron's decision but I fully understand and support him. Housequake really made me feel at home (it was my browser starting page!). I don't know that much about the background story concerning the latest problems with Prince and his team but the fact alone that Aaron kept housequake alive in his spare time and without financial help is simply amazing. I have been an occasional lurker here at the org, but I preferred housequake simply because it was easier on the eyes... Also, the resource guides there really helped me "refresh" my knowledge about Prince just when I needed it - I have been a fan for 20 years now but lost interest at some point in the nineties... 3121 brought me back to Prince at that was the time I registered at housequake, realizing how much I had missed...

I also want to say that I met some really nice, friendly, savvy and unique people over there and I really hope to meet some of them here!

Greetings,
d.

2 or 3 days ago, Cateto was (rightfully) pissed off (but he handled it as a gent) by some person's very rude comments that were literally attacking Cateto personally. When I read Cateto's reaction it didn't give me the impression he intended to come back over here.

I think the topic you're referring to with Cateto is the first one about Housequake, which is now locked.
