book reading forum? I think it'd be nice to have a book reading forum.
I'm not sure how popular it would be, but it would certainly be interesting. from the other artist forum I've picked up some great tips for new inspiring bands and I guess the book forum would work out in a similar way. Anybody have any thoughts on this? small circles, big wheels!
I've got a pretty firm grip on the obvious!

Anybody have any thoughts on this? there is usually a 'what are you reading' thread on the GD forum, don't know if you've seen it? http://prince.org/msg/100/257528

I find that my reading skills really aren't up to par compared to everyone else here.
Y'all have brains that seem to work much more gooder than mine.

Ex-Moderator | While I appreciate the interest, I personally do not see the need for additional forums on prince.org at this time. The forums we currently have make sense considering the the overall subject of the site is Prince and music related. The GD forum came about because people wanted to have discussions that were not Prince/music related. The P&R forum was broken off at one time and I understand why, but I don't see a need to break any further topics of discussion at this time. And I'm not sure there would be enough subject matter/participants to warrant it's own forum.
If you wish to "elevate" the level of what's going on in GD, I'd suggest going in and participating. There are plenty of threads that are about both film and books and other subjects that are not photowhore/porn related. And it could certainly stand a few more. The forum can only reflect the particpants in it. |
