Just found out about the meeting as well via the main page.

I am coming all the way from Glasgow.

There might be also be the possibility that I might be late coming from work as well.

Last concert for me was in 98 in Utrecht, The Netherlands

First concert was in Heerenveen, the Netherlands, yep I am Dutch and moved to Scotland 4 years ago.

did u checkout the listings on yell? if ure stuck, dont worry, ull get something last minute at 1 of the smaller places in macdonald road or around there. pilrig street and bonnington road r also close by and full of small guest houses. pilrig is the next street down leith walk from macdonald road. these places may not advertise well, or try royal terrace, slightly posher, but just round the corner from calton road where pivo is

i just called the 2nd listing on yell and they had a room, so u should get lucky, if any1 gets stuck, post here and i'll c what i can do

rooms r about £30 per person or £50 a single, tho it's possible 2 maybe get something cheaper, but aim 4 the £50 quid mark, i wouldn't spend much more unless u got money 2 burn, ure cute and the joint is loaded

we could try and leave word of what we r doing at the bar, but that's not always practicle. i was thinking of sticking an A4 symbol poster outside pivo or in the window if they would let us so folks would know where it is

actually if u dig out ure videos of trainspotting, at the start of the movie when renton gets almost knocked over by a car whilst ziggy pop is singing lust 4 life, that is filmed in calton road, right outside pivo, it used 2 b called the st james oyster bar. if u watch the movie closely at the start it will give u directions 2 get 2 pivo during the shoplifting scene when the run away from john menzies (which is now next), u c them going down the stairs at the black bull which takes u from leith street down 2 calton road, where renton runs past pivo and heads 2wards the venue (name of nightclub) and gets almost knocked over and then nicked by the police (not sting)

scenes 4 some julia roberts period drama were also shot outside there actually. i believe its the pretty womans local boozer when she's in town
