Aside from what JT did at the Golden Globes, he also dissed Prince about "Sexy Back". And the tribute at the SB was the icing on the cake -- it was his final jab at Prince.

Get a grip. For fucks sake.

This is factual.

I have heard a first-hand account from someone who worked on the Purple Rain tour who was fired because he made an ill-judged comment about Prince's height, and Prince flew into a rage and had him fired.

There is absolutely no way that he thought was Justin did was amusing in any way. It was disrespectful as fuck.

When I saw the video I thought the same. But that was many years ago and who has not made mistakes, alot peopl have in their past...

You have to be accepting of people. However there is an old saying that I find has served me well:

When people show you who they are believe them.

.

S o Justin publicly ridiculed Prince's height on national TV . He has not changed. He came out singing Rock Your Body . . . that was not a mistake. Many knew his history at the Superbowl and even those who are not popculture followers remembered and found it in bad taste. He was wrong . He showed me his essence is as it is. People do and can change but it appears JT sees no need to change and in 2018 people are openly questioning his motives. It is not a crime. I am surprised by those who act as if JT should again get a pass. I am glad this round he is not getting that pass.

Woo, check out what Sheila said about the supposed Hologram! She said people need to quit doggin' Justin because he had nothing to do with it. But, she hinted that she heard something about a company who does Holograms. I could tell she was trying to keep her lips zipped. lol

http://www.tmz.com/2018/0...-hologram/

I love Sheila E but JT is not getting a pass from me on that neither because I'm pretty sure the 'idea' of doing a 'duet with a Prince hologram' was JT"s, the sponsors may have loved it and jumped on the chance of making it happen but this clusterfuck was driven by JT and his ego.

Yea, Sheila was defending JT and saying he's a talented musician. rolleyes

You know damn well that Prince would never want JT to do a tribute of him!

JT needs to refrain from doing tributes for anyone, ever again; it's obviously not his forte! lol

And unfounded and juvenile.

Prince fans act like they're the gatekeepers for all things Prince. They know what's better for Prince's legacy, more than his family or those with a hands-on privilege. Fan will get every Prince and prince tattoo, cover every Prince song on YouTube, perform it in their cover bands and put that on YouTube as well, use his image and other copyrighted material for shittastic photoshop memes and "tributes", sing along to his music on Instagram and in the car, post GIFs of Prince, and more.

Yet when an established musician who has the chops to obviously sell records, put on great tours, write hit songs and put out quality music drops a skrim of fabric from the garment district to project 30 seconds of one song and sing a few words along with it to, from his heart, pay tribute to a city and the artist they lose their fucking minds.

I mean, I'm really surprised no one has gone after Jessica Biel, or his child Silas Randall Timberlake. I think his parents are alive but divorced - maybe the naysayers could drag them, too. If fans drag former girlfriends of Prince, I'm sure the Timberlakes are wide open.

falloff My thoughts on JT only go as far as his lil' bitch type pettiness, where it has involved Prince and his lil' bitch type spinelessness, when it came to Janet Jackson and Nipplegate. Beyond that, I truly give no fucks about him, one way or another. shrug

As for Prince fans acting like we're the gatekeepers of all things Prince...well...we know that we're not. But since those with financial motivations and professional aspirations are targeting US for their goals...we should and for the most part will say so...when we notice something isn't right about it.

Well as y'all know, I am a massive Prince fan but above all, I am a music lover, and I can proudly say that I am a big Justin Timberlake fan as well (yes, it is possible).

Similarly to Prince's, I think the music Justin produces is of a great quality and has that feel-good factor without giving the impression that he has done a rushed job, contrary to many other current pop artists. I am sure Prince would have appreciated the efforts Justin has put towards the tribute to honour him, and the fact that he incorporated a fantastic choreography. As for his vocals not being 'on top' that night, it seems that this was due to a technical glitch and does not reflect his usually impeccable singing.

As for his new album, 'Man Of The Woods' (I love the theme), I don't understand how he has gotten so many bad critics reviews when the sales are actually already soaring and after listening to it, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it actually is.

Perhaps all the haters could have a listen too, so long as they are not too busy hatin' of course. wink

It's not evil. That's hysteric talk, buzzwords. I ask again, did you have a problem when Natalie Cole propped up her long-dead daddy to sing "Unforgettable" with him? There are tons of duets albums out there w/ dead artists - on one says boo about it. But my God don't touch Prince! It's not against some random verse in the bible; that "demonic" bullshit was Prince's opinion, not a fact.

So people don't understand respect because they disagree with you? That seems small minded. I could ask "how could you not support someone paying tribute to Prince??? Sheila did it. She sang his songs and sampled a few bits, and she did it when the body was barely cold." There is a thing called perspective. One can challenge the tribute, but when one delves into ad hominem, the debates become invalid and without merit any longer.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Who's talking about Natalie Cole? We are talking about Prince here.

.

You keep dismissing the fact that Prince specifically said he didn't want anyone singing duets with him when he was gone, or using his image on screen. He didn't like it and said it was demonic. He never did that to any late artist.

.

Why are you bringing Sheila into this to prove your inaccurate claims? Sheila would NEVER do what JT did in that halftime-tribute to Prince!! Never!! She's not doing that to him -- does she sing along with him with his image up on screen? NOPE.

.

These debates are only invalid to you because you think your opinion is always the right one, and everyone else's should be dismissed.

I'm making a point. If it's wrong for one, then it should be wrong for everyone. If God is the same all the time, then so are demons. If something is demonic about that w/ Prince, then it is with everyone. Did everyone start waving bibles and "demonic" declarations when Cole and a gazillion others did the same thing? He also specifically addressed how they mimicked Lennon's voice on a Beatles song. That is not what he wanted.

The "demonic" thing was just Prince in the midst of his JW turnover. Prince fans know 1/3 of what he said was in the moment and not a lifelong belief. It was his whim at the time. He also said the internet was over, but y'all still here.

The tribute was not demonic. He got the vocal stems from someone in the upper echelon of control, so y'all should complain to them. And stop posting GIFs, stop singing along w/ him on Instagram & Facebook etc. Fans should practice what they preach, or STFU. That's all.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

So, you don't believe in respecting someone's wishes. Okay, I get it now.

.

Again, you are trying to twist the argument and generalize the subject at-hand. Natalie Cole wasn't Prince......her tribute to her late Father had nothing to do with Prince or his wishes after death.

.

JT's tribute to Prince WAS demonic. In fact, the entire SB halftime show was demonic.

.

Who's singing along with JT? What are you talking about? eek confused

.

Now, go back to The Woods; I'm sure Justin is waiting there for you.
