eye'm looking 4 an article prince.org put up when raveun2thejoyfantatistic came out that claimed that when an artist "goes gold" meaning sells over 500,000 units, it does not REALLY mean they sold 500,000 albums but that the 500,000 were distributed to stores world wide OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.... eye don't remember, all eye know is that it stated that going gold doesn't neccesarily mean u sold 500,000 anybody know anything about this or where eye can find this article?? eye think it was an uptown article that prince.org really liked and posted on here aswell
