This is a blues tune called: Bone

I wasn't gonna post this one because the mix still isn't qute right, I've got some things to add to it and its, well....
bluesy!

Very good as always, Styles! There's some really nice playing on there!

Man I am loving this track. That is my fave acoustic tone, natural, hearing the fingers scratch. ect. Really builds to a nice place. The harmonies are killer. That tune is real naked with the mix and I love it. That acoustic only part is like sitting around the camp fire listening to tunes with the crackle going on. Real nice!!

How long did it take u 2 do this one? I dont think I could get around producing so much vocals and musicianship in a song . U say this is a concept album? What is the visual? Where does this song come in2 play on Disc 2 as u say?

But like i said, this is awesome. Damn i wish i had/and/or could play da gittar!

We decided to record the acoustic in a completely wooden room upstairs in my engineer's house so we just ran a couple of lines thru the ceiling and miked it. My foot tapping in the room is supposed to be like the time keeper for the song--kinda like what Paul McCartney did on Blackbird.

This one took me 3 hours to complete. Believe it or not, its actually got 22 tracks on it.
This one will come at the beginning of the Concept disc right after the overture. Other than that, I've gotta keep it a surprise but I think you'll dig it!

Listened to most of your tracks on soundclick the other day Jshua. Well done. Can tell u got ur own style happnin here : my only criticism ( meant purely constructively ) is that sometimes your backing vocals are a little pitchy. I really like ur voice and lyrics - well thought out. When you saturate the tape with spirit while singing those BV's you'll find it solves the pitching problem I am only occasionally hearing. Hope you dont mind me pointing that out.

I completely understand where you're coming from with my songs but it requires a bit of an explanation.....

What I have currently posted on my site are the rough mixes as they were recorded per session
(1-2 songs in a night block or 3-4 in a weekend block) and I pretty much put them down as is just to have a sketch as a point of reference to what I was hearing in my mind. After that, I usually go back in a re-track the "rough" spots. So basically what you're hearing is the original raw session before I've gone back and polished with new voicings, instruments, etc...

So its all good--and I love bouncing off my ideas here!

Great voice, love the time being kept in a big room, the change reminded me of P but just for originality and harmonies.
