Can someone explain first person, second person, and third person view? Please give me an example. Until this day, I can't understand what they mean by this when writing and from what viewpoints. I have a friend who doesn't say you, instead she says to Donna for example, 'If Donna wants to make bread, Donna needs to... '. So, when she said that, is that second or third person she's talking about?

That example would be third person. If she’d said “you”, that would’ve been second person. Grammarly has a good explainer for this: https://www.grammarly.com...rd-person/
