Eric Leeds talked to a Club Member in the elevator after the last ONA performance at the Aladdin in Las Vegas and said that Prince was planning on taking off the next four months.

I know you guys have no impulse control whatsoever and were brought up to believe that A.D.D. is a virtue, but you have to give it at least four months before you start to speculate on the future of his music club.

if only you could have said it a month earlier.. look at all these smelly 2003 npgmc posts we have to deal with.

In fact he me told me this in the elevator of the Aladdin and he also said in a tone like "you know Prince' - no one ever knows what he has planned. Yup, this is true!

But why on earth do we have 2 rely on small talk in an elevator 2 know what's up with our club. I'm not saying I don't believe u, but wouldn't it have been easy 4 npgmc 2 email their members that there's a 4 month break? It would have saved a lot of agitation and unnecessary emails...The lack of proper info is bothering me the most 2 b honest, it doesn't seem members r that important this way...

I just think it would B nice if Prince & the NPGMC would say THANK U 2 all the 2002 members just as they did after the 1st edition of the club was over.

It also would B nice if they would say something about the club in 2003. Not all the details but that it will come soon or something and that Prince is just taking a breake or something.

The current situation is just as always (I mean in 2002) / the just ignore us. And they call us FAMES (how ironic...)
