Besides TRC, which is clearly amazing.

I think I have nearly all the other stuff and it all seems pretty dire. Even a mediocre track like 'Vavoom' stands out in this bunch.

I agree. Right now on this site I'm having a hard time understanding musically where some fans are coming from. It's not that I think my opinion is any more valid than anyones, I just don't get it how some seem to love the 'phatness' and processed, synthesised crap of some of the 90s over the musical brilliance of TRC and innovative excellence of the 80s.

I think I must be coming from a different musical background, where Jaco, Stevie, Marvin, Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, and Sly reign supreme.

• My Medallion - very cute
• Judas Kiss/Smile - Cool upbeat
• VanGough - very original, very cool
• Silicon - Takes a long time to chew, but great once it grows
• Y Should Eye Do That - Very neat song

There's nothing interesting in the music. It sounds like these songs were done very quickly, hence an emphasis on keyboard sounds and programmed beats.

I didn't care for year 1's tracks either. In fact I deleted them off my hard drive when I reformatted.

I thought all the tracks were absolutely brilliant - listen to them all the time. Just wish we were getting the same choice this year - hope the Music Club will soon be back with us!!!

I hope 2003 is more like 2002. That was a good year, in the end.
