no more tourbooks? in the concerts section, someone commented that at the rotterdam show, there weren't any tour books on sale. who wants to bet me $100 (c'mon, why not? everyone who joined the club this year, myself included, should be used to throwing $100 away) that he took the tour books off b/c they say that members will receive: ONA, the best of squiggle, madrid 2 chicago and last december?
and where the hell IS our ONA live "box" set, anyway? (i use the quotation marks b/c 3 cd's ain't a box set in anyone's book except prince's...and just lately for him. i mean, was emancipation promoted as a BOX SET? no. even crystal ball, which had *4* cd's was never promoted as being a box set. box set means AT LEAST 5 cd's...) jesus!!! the cd's have been complete since the freaking celebration!!! that was 4 months ago. send those muthas OUT already, princey!! why you wanna treat us so bad? I'm hoping that it's packed with goodies that are not in the common multi-jewel case packaging. Guitar pick, laminate, postcards, anything would be cool. Has anyone purchased the Hendrix box set with the purple paisley velvet packaging? That would have been a great Prince box. Maybe we're all getting a tour book with the live set. Wishful thinking? Maybe in one of the box sets that go out to members, there's a golden ticket for a personal meeting and tour at Paisley Park with Prince himself. Wonka style. I want an Oompa Loompa. The tourbooks can still be ordered through NPGMC. I doubt they pulled them from the tour because of false information. They probably just ran out. The club membership is huge in Europe. | |
