NPGMC posts another cryptic message...? New post from the club...
October 18: Vital Stats: Real Name: Lawrence Zeiger Born: November 19, 1933... GUESS WHO?!! Answer - Larry King! Maybe a hint to a future appearance...?

Nah, more likely they're pointing out he's even more Jewish than he looks, & is thus, more evil. Add to that, the fact he was born in 1933. So he's old & Jewish. Watch out for LK! [This message was edited Fri Oct 18 3:43:18 PDT 2002 by mediadarling]

But, if it *is* a hint about an upcoming appearance, why put it out there like a clue in a scavenger hunt? It'd be sort of insulting.

Remember P appearing on Larry King in 96 to promote Emancipation...
Larry was asking Prince about his problems with WB, Prince talked about how they owned his music, his voice, his image, then Larry dropped the bomb: "You know, Warner Bros. owns this network?" Prince looks at Larry out of the corner of his eye, "They do?" Way to do your homework before you go on an interview, dude. Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife. More info at https://www.facebook.com/TMATSPodcast/

You are not my "friend" because you threaten my security.

good heavens i just had a thought: what if prince IS nuts? i mean, totally whacked-out-glazed-eyed bonkers crazy? what if he's gone right off his rocker and everyone at paisley park is too scared to tell him "um, look boss, you really should tell the premium members what they can expect to receive in exchane for those credit cards they've been sending your way . . . "
should we pity him instead of being pissed off???

I would have to agree with the part I quoted... ok. ok. the rest of my post about him being bonkers was a bit harsh. but, what CAN he be thinking? or is he just too busy to get around to working on the club? why couldn't he just TELL us that, then? let us IN for a change. bother. i hope he/NPGMC prospers but sometimes i can't help waxing critical. WISH they'd fix things up for us

bother. i hope he/NPGMC prospers but sometimes i can't help waxing critical. WISH they'd fix things up for us Well, isn't it? Just reiterates how good his music MUST be, right? Can you IMAGINE how rockin the NPGMC would be with just some of the valid propositions folks (including you) have posted?

yes i really can!!! i think it could be the best thing in town and then some. which is why i get so mad when i see it so wishy-washy. but, it's up to them to change things, not us, which for me is the hardest part about being an armchair critic
