Okay I'm freakin' out--just a lil' bit. Moreso b/c I'm at my parents house & they only have dial up which is SO slow that I couldn't log onto NPG yesterday and then tonight at 11:45 I log ontoHQ to see the news that NPG is ending in 15 minutes! I hate surprises!!
A little more notice to make last minute download purchases would have been nice. I hope there's a new incarnation of the club. I'm bummed, I joined after Musicology and only got to use my membership for tix to the Tamar show in Feb.  The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. It didn't occur to me untill now that the Musicology Download Store had also been axed. At this rate the store I work at will also be closed by morning (I work at KMart! It has happened before!) "You've got a million dollar smile, but you can't buy time...

Looking back in retrospect, I am reminded of the album (not CD) of Prince entitled "Around The World In A Day" which followed the album Purple Rain. A lot of fans were lost, but many, many more were gained. Only the TRUE fans will hang on. Don't get the Microchip in your neck! It's A Real Mother For Ya

Am I the only person who WASN'T particularly fond of NPGMC (except the ticket presales  ) who is still genuinely  by this news! Dang, I'm glad I burned all my downloads to CD!
