Quick question for ya'll. The file says its a wma file. Can you burn this onto cd or do you have to convert it to an MP3? Thanks, Farfunk

You can burn it with the Windows Media Player, uses Roxy Burning, I think.

So he doesn't like this song. It happens. Doesn't mean someone isn't "really" a Prince fan.

You are so right. I posted in my blog that i can't imagine ANYBODY coming up with a track like this - fully written and recorded and produced and to the fans - as quickly as Prince. Amazing, amazing, amazing.

Some people... May I point y'all to the War Child album in the UK? This year for the second time a bunch of artists will record AN ENTIRE ALBUM (i.e. one song apiece) IN ONE DAY and release it on iTunes THE NEXT DAY (and release it on CD as soon as possible). They did this about 10 years ago too (without the iTunes thingy of course).

So please, no more of that "only Prince can do this" crap, it's been done before and those efforts (unlike this Prince track) will get lots of press and will generate a ton of money.

Those artists know in advance that they will be appearing in a studio on a certain date, I'm sure they all have a few thoughts about what they will lay down well in advance, plus all the organisation of the production staff and machinery is sorted well in advance. Prince did this all on his own one night, inspired on the spot, no preparation.

Prince has recorded a gazillion songs in a couple of hours. But you guys pretend like that is so special, and releasing a song online within days of recording it is so damn special. Like I said: it's been done before. Try looking up how much time passed bewteen the White Stripes recording their latest album and the first single being available on iTunes.

And unlike Prince, they actually recorded something that wasn't the umpteenth variation on the same boring theme.

I never said that other artists didn't have the same abilities to record lightning fast like Prince, and I would call them special too. It's a rare ability, I would say, at the least.

Kudos to the White Stripes who I like a lot, however it's a lot easier to avoid recurring themes when you haven't been in the industry for 25 years. Perhaps in 20 years a White Stripes fan will be going, "Oh not another umpteenth variation on the same boring theme"!

Can anyone explain why BartVH remains on these sites? Most, if not all, of his posts are negative and critical of Prince. It seems he long ago concluded that Prince is a 'has been' yet Bart participates regularly. I'm not taking a dig at your now Bart - I just can't understand.
