Just looked up SST:

"The Tropical Prediction Center / National Hurricane Center uses the SST analyses in forecasting tropical cyclone intensity in statistical hurricane models."

This is either a very funny coincidence or a quite clever play of words by Prince.
I mean, SST having the above meaning and "Sade's Sweetest Taboo".

If you believe everything you hear and see on Bill Maher's show then God help you. I see and hear people on TV and radio refer to people with a conservative or Christian world view as EXTREMISTS all the time and yet I can't think of anyone in the current american popular culture who is more EXTREMIST in his world view as Bill Maher. He (like Howard Dean) absolutely hates Christians. Funny though that during the time of the immediate aftermath of Katrina when one could certainly say that the machinery of the federal response was simply anemic, Christian congregations and charities were already marshalling resources to provide help and relief to thousands of unfortunate souls who lost everything, in some cases even hope. But this is only the latest example of how I only see and hear vilification of conservatives and Christians in our media but see a very different thing in real life where it truly counts. Not trying to preach, just being real and in this case "politically incorrect". peace

Does anyone have the lyrics!

Who will b a guest in ur tent?
Certainly not the ones who don’t wanna repent
And keep giving guns 2 the poorest of our nation sons
Who is gonna call u by name?
With no confusion, trinity or preacher's vain?
Who says that everytime
And opens up the eyes of the blind
Who will b the 1 in his bed?
Certainly not the 1's who put thorns on his head
And wish him dead while they took his daily bread
Which 1 is of value 2 u?
The 1 depleting the oil supply
Or the One that renews it
And keeps the peace
Like the groove on Sade’s Sweetest Taboo

Who will b a guest in ur tent?
R u gonna b happy with how ur life has been spent?
Did u have open arms 4 each and everybody you met
Or did U let them die in the rain?
Endless war, poverty or hurricane…
Then it’s time 4 another groove
Like Sade’s Sweetest Taboo

Maybe because that song is a semblance of peace and love. The most important reference is from Psalms 15.1!

I like it a lot. But than I always like it when he does
these kind of songs. "Pearls Before The Swine" and cuts
like "Reflection" or "She Loves me For Me".

I like those lyrics. They're cool without being too ehm
heavy on blatant religion, it's nicely abstracted.

But damn, what a surprise when the song opens up into a
70's style funk jam at the closing 30 seconds before it
segues into "Brand New Orleans", which just struts down
the block cool as freezerburn for the next 6 minutes.

love dancing jig love

if Prince recorded all of this in a single night: bow

Wait a minute, am I the only one who thinks this picture is a little suspect? Like it was doctored somehow? No, I'm not a Bush supporter but this picture doesn't look authentic. Does someone have the site where they posted it from?

I've seen every Real Time with Bill Maher and all of his stand-up concerts... Never once heard him say he "hates Christians."... I feel he shines a true light on the hypocrisy practiced by many (not all) who are religous.

My friend, it is entirely possible that if one were to take an exhaustive look at the writings and speeches of Hitler that you may never come across the declarative statement, "I hate the Jews", but in every sense of how he spoke toward them and wrote of them, it was crystal clear to anyone looking that Hitler in fact hated the Jewish people. Bill Maher goes out of his way to berate and denegrate Christians every chance that he gets. He absolutely despises them except for the psuedo-Christian cronies and fellow mouthpieces for the far left that he has as regular guests. You know the ones with prefixes of Rev. and Dr. before their names, who supposedly speak for the black community and whose views on a great number of issues are completely antithetical to the teachings of both the old and new testiment writings. They're just fine with him, but if you truly believe the Bible and order your life and actions in accordance with it, believe me when say that he hates you for it, very much in the same way Hitler hated the Jews though he in fact may have never said quote, "I hate the Jews."
