Anyone familiar with Wachovia Center in PHilly and/or Musicology seating? Hello all!
Quick question for those of you familiar with the Wachovia Center and/or those who've seen the Musicology tour already! I may try to get tix for one of the Philly shows in August since I'm gonna be visiting friends for my b-day. My question is about tix...is it worth getting floor seats if you're not in the first row or two? I'm only 5'6 and I hear the stage is pretty darned high!! Below is the link to Wachovia stage, scroll down to the fourth seating chart, I may have a shot at seats in 118-A...they look to be in the back of the floor seats...should I go for these or maybe try to go for something decent in lowers? Thanks, I appreciate the helP!!! Matt "Because when you say annihilation my friends, you've said all there is to say" - Henry Rollins

I am short too. I am going to be in section 105. I am not worried about tho.

Section 118 isn't on the floor. It's in the first level and would probably make a good spot for someone who is short. The tickets are absolutely worth the price and you'd probably be able to see better than on the floor.

I am in NY, and have tickets for the Philly show, yet I don't know where this place is. In addition, i am not even 5'ft tall. I guess I will have a hurt neck by the end of the NYC metro Musicology shows.

It's not hard to find from NY. And the view should be great at the Wachovia Center. I will do today what you won't, so tomorrow I can do what you can't.

My seats are section 9, row 9 (in Philly, too). For any of you guys that went, are they pretty good seats or is the stage too high? [This message was edited Sat Jul 17 7:25:47 2004 by theVelvetRoper]

Just a tip for those going to the philly show...
Take the train to the arena... After attending many concerts and sporting events at the Wachovia, I've found the train to be the best way to get in and out. I usually park downtown, usually at the Ritz-Carlton ($10), walk across the street and then hop on the Broad Street Line South and get off at the last stop, which is right accross the street from the arena. I've missed many tip-offs, kick-offs, opening pitches, and opening acts due to the horrendous parking and traffic situations in South Philly. Trust me, after the show, when you're sitting at an aftershow/afterparty venue (if there is one) or hanging in a club, when everyone else is in traffic, you'll be thanking me. Peace Out, Trout!!
