i'll be alone too, no mrs. either! Hoping I can get tickets for the Birmingham show, as it seems like a once in a lifetime chance to see him play in that fashion. I took the ex to see him twice in 2014 and both nights I danced my legs down to the knees This will be a nice change of pace. He ended up busting out Electric Intercourse, Empty Room etc at the Arena shows during his piano sets, so who knows what he'll dig up for these shows

149 is just below my 150 limit.

But it is very close.

With added expense of traveling there it is much more.

Just lie and say you managed to get only one ticket. Or take the funds from the Christmas budget.

I had the same limit in mind. And the €149 will be the seats way up in the balcony of course. You can save yourself the cost of travel by waiting for Carre to be announced, but with prices like this... No, thanx.

Pardon me for thinking, but this is my Org too :

Prices like these leave out a great deal of true fans, and let in a bourgeoisie elite that will go to the concert just to talk about it the next day.

I surely hope he's going to do what he did with "La Cigale", a smaller venue at an honest pricing.

But this is not entirely Prince's fault, far from it. The market is what it is, nowadays.

But I sure would like to attend. I mean, look at this venue :

TOTALLY AWESOME! Wow, this is so great news, performing only with a microphone and piano, this reminds me of the piano interludes so clearly video'ed on the LoveSexy concert. And the piano sets from the ONA tour, sure he can play piano well!

Looking forward news on the Amsterdam Carré show, fingers crossed!!

Very sad to hear those prices. Far from shutting out the 'talk and wander around crowd I think it just shuts out people like myself- big fans who simply can't afford to pay it no matter how much they wish they were there. Like most things in the uk- it's okay if you happen to be rich. If not- forget it. Very disappointing.

It will do both...and you're it's not fair, but life isn't fair and it is, at the end of the day, only a concert. There's no way everyone was going to be happy at the end of this.

Just heard this from an inside source at the Philharmonic Hall in LiverpoolTickets about to go on sale for £ 125 and £ 175 but then show got cancelled. No reason to doubt this as its from a very reliable mate who has contacts there. Hope I am wrong as seeing Price in Liverpool, at a venue like the Phil, would be amazing. Just a heads up incase anyone was thinking of going to Liverpool and now wants to focus on other cities if they become available. At that ticket price, I wont be bothering unless a new show is put on in Manchester. Gutted if this is true.

Even those that can afford tickets (and you don't have to be rich, jeez!), might not get hold of them. And he has done his fair share of reasonably priced concerts. The O2 shows were a bargain, especially compared to other artists (Madonna, Gaga, AC/DC, all charging above £200 at that time and now). It's no reason to be upset - it is just a concert at the end of the day. I will be trying my damndest to get tickets, but life won't change if it doesn't happen for me.

I got the heads up this morning that Prince was booked to play The Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool with tickets costing between £55-£180. These tickets were due to go on sale on Friday 13th November.

However, I just spoke to the ticket office in Liverpool to ask them more details and was told that Prince was due to play, but will not be playing Liverpool anymore as he cannot fit the date in to his tour schedule.

Perhaps it gives an indication of prices for other shows in the UK. I was also told that he is thought to be playing Manchester, London and Glasgow.
