Do you know that he was going to perform for a fact FunkyD, and how do you know that if he's not performing, that it is because of his ego issue?

Well they announced him.. and he didn't deny it. so that's an indication he was supposed to perform..

and whatever the reason is for him not performing it's bullshit for the fans who bought tickets to go see Prince..

Anywho i couldn't care less about Prince live in 2015.. his 3rdeyegirl band bores me and he looks bored and uninspired.. i felt a little bit of frustration for some fans of his who maybe spent money to see him..

i agree that those reasons combined would make him refuse but he probably knew about all of this before accepting to perform.. I highly doubt Prince would accept to perform without knowing specific details for this sort of event. And with Prince knowing he would perform on the same event as Beyonce and Jay-z looking like an insect and being filmed.. this begs the question : why did he accept in the first place to perform to refuse afterwards?

My guess (no fact of course) : to make himself look like he's too good to be on the same lineup as some some of the acts in it.. that's how pathetic i think this is..

but then again he might show up, surprise and contradict me here.. which would be cool for his fans who bought tickets to see him.. but I think he's too much of an asshole to do that
