TBH, while I'm disappointed he may have pulled out of the performance, I'm kind of glad he did, I just can't see him up there with that line up, even though it's kind of a d!ck move, but hey, it's Prince.

1. he has to perform with other generation artists like Lil Wayne or Nicky Minage because JAy-Z is promoting the unity theme. He probably wanted Beyonce adn Jay said no.

2. He was opening for BEyonce and Jay-Z

3. The event was being filmed and broadcast live. We all know how he feels about being filmed nowadays.

So you REALLY don't think Tidal didn't ask Prince if he wanted to perform before the announcement???

and why would they add his name without asking him just to sell if they didn't need him in the first place to sell??

also.. this dosen't look like the kind of thing Prince would pull off to you??

and Prince's camp didn't deny being part of the event after the annoucement. that's a BIG clue that he was supposed to be there..

1. Prince does not want people in the audience to film the concert and there are usually big ass signs at most venues telling the public not to film. Prince films his own shows and why would he not want Tidal to broadcast the concert when he is working with them and had the Baltimore concert audio broadcast. 2.He performed at Essence which had other artist on the bill. No reason he could not do his own set and the other artist do their own set. He will blow them all off the stage so it would be in their best interest to not be on the stage. 3. So what if he has to open for Beyoncé and Jay (not that I saw anywhere ) he loves himself some Beyoncé and he is in business with Jay Z. 4.We have no official word on anything so just relax some on this board are wishing failure on Tidal so hard that you willing to make up stuff.

If Prince films his shows from time to time does that mean he'd want a pro shot concert to be broadcasted live with Prince not looking like the biggest act of night and being associated with artists he dosen't want to be associated with??? and he allowed his baltimore concert broadcasted live.. yes.. so what??? That's different than allowing a pro shot concert broadcasted live.

and the essence festival was different than this. They are going with more of a unified theme for Tidal He basically accepted to be in a scenario he didn't see himself in than pulled out
