How do you know it is one day?

Sounds like one day to me.

...and sounds like they are only giving away one trip. I'm assuming (hoping) they will be selling tickets to the public for the event.

The second option as posted by the Op is to submit a written entry via snail mail to the address stated. If they actually look at those submissions at all!

Although I will probably submit one through the mail since I'm leary of buying the CD on a Prince website...

The site is actually being ran by Warner Brothers. I've ordered stuff through them before and I haven't had any problems. Only issue is you won't have the physical CDs on Septemer 30th.

If they are truly only giving away one prize in the contest, then I think they will sell tickets or just have people line up all day. Hopefully they will sell tickets. The soundstage holds roughly 1500 and that is packing people in and getting a little uncomfortable. I'm in Minneapolis, so I wouldn't have to go far. I'm thinking tickets would be somewhere around $100-$200, just guessing though. Since this will be the first show and event promoting the albums, there will probably be a lot of focus on it by the media.

LOL. Prince doing a free show nowadays!! It will never happen. He is way to money hungry to treat his fans to that!! Its a great marketing idea though.
