How did you know to go there?

I figured something would happen because of the contest. A friend suggested I go
Paisley yesterday. Also another was headed there just to see. When my friend hot there, she told me to come and that it was 20 dollars. Best 20 buck show I ever saw. We were just going to go to Paisley in case there was a dance party so seeing Prince in the soundstage with less that 50 people was wonderful. I am grateful to him and the ladies. biggrin

Wow!!!!!!!!! Very fortunate! Its a good feeling when your one of 50...

eye will ALWAYS think of prince like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. eye mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that prince wasn't of this earth, eye would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. prince

what setlist would you suggest? Clouds is definitely a new one. I always look at setlists and I'm not impressed, but when i hear the concert he always blows me away - I think it's in the performance not the actual choice of songs.

Agreed. I know I like seeing setlists of all the songs I've heard live before 'cause then I'm not jeaous of missing it. lol Yet when I hear the same songs I've heard a million times before I still have an awesome time.

Last night was super fun. We walked in during Something in the Water, so missed what I think was a good 30 minutes or so. Clouds was super fun, I enjoyed Pretzelbodylogic live even though I don't care for it album-wise and I've never seen What's My Name in person and I loooooved it. I've seen thankyoufalettinmebemicelf many, many times and still there was someting new and fun with that one last night.

I hardly needed to be...I saw many of the shows this year and it was always the same version...it's my opinion..if you don't like it...I don't care.

lol 3rdeyegirl is NOT an average band, if U saw them U would be impressed. I always thought the band was good and each girl showcases their talents tremendously and individually.

How fortunate they all are to have Prince as a teacher. Perfection in Practice, No fluff, all REAL jamming, intense rythum and sound during their entire performances.

Ida with the deep, steady, heavy bass, Donna was amazing on her guitar unlike any other girl guitarist I've ever seen and Hannah really impressed me with her coordination and fierce application on the drums. All real music by real musicians.

It was so much fun...

Just before Josh joined for "Clouds" P teased a few bars of "Muse 2 The Pharoah" on keyboard.

Very lucky to attend such an intimate and special show.

Why was there only approx. 50 people there....how did you all be blessed to be selected...I can't imagine only that few attending...and I keep looking for the winner'ss report b/c I know she had an fabulous time...LOL...I would love to temporarily live vicariously through her wonderful experiance!! sun

I met her too! I went to congratulate her with my hand extended and she hugged me instead. Very nice lady. Prince gave her a shirt like the one he was wearing for the night.

I don't imagine she is a member of this community but I would venture that her experience would be posted on Facebook or maybe not: it could be a very private thing for her. I'd like to hink she is the reason it was open to the public and if she is that reason, I am so grateful.
