This last minute stuff is getting really irritating for London. I have 2 friends who have never seen Prince but REALLY want to go. One was having an operation in the week of the other UK shows, the other was abroad before and lives in Portsmouth. Latter friend just can't drop everything at work now and make it up to London for tomorrow.

Agree, i know we all wanted a ticketed London show, but giving us a day and half notice is not very helpful. Maybe these were just an after thought after Berlin got cancelled and there will be some larger London shows coming up.

So come vibe with us.....Funk Bible...New Testament!

Roundhouse has a curfew of 1am, i have been to this venue many times and the only ones that end at 23.00 are the top acts that use a curfew as a excuse.

But if anyone dont believe me, i dont give a f*ck, go argue with yourselves.

I'm always arguing with myself...I always win!!

Normally I'd agree....but I managed to make it to London when it February when that was the ONLY place he was doing, then he announced dates and he's announced dates across the UK recently....if people couldn't get to the London gigs in February, the Manchester gigs in February, Birmingham, Manchester,Leeds last month or this London gig ...there surely it's either bad luck, lack of willingness to travel (for bookable shows) or just not meant to be.

I can't make this show for time and money reasons but, whilst I'm sure it'll be fun, my Feb experience tells me that £75-85 for 1hr of Prince isn't the best Prince experience

I made it to the Shepherd's Bush show in February too but went alone because again, no-one around could drop everything because of outside commitments. Lord knows what it's like for people with kids. These things absolutely can be worked out with a minimum of one week notice though. Although for my particular friends, being abroad and having a scheduled operation are viable excuses.

Well London certainly seems to get the full "Hit and Run" experience - small venue with short notice. I was lucky enough to be able to make the trip to Manchester so I'm not quite so disappointed that I can't make it tomorrow, but to all you lucky people who get tickets, I hope you have an amazing time 😃😍

I'm really hoping Thursday will go on sale as I can't possibly go tomorrow.. I've seen some great acts at the Roundhouse (Paul McCartney, Gorrilaz, Atoms for Peace) but whoever said it's a good view from anywhere is totally wrong, it is not tiered at all + a lot of massive pillars in the way and even I have had problems seeing everything, I'm 6ft 3!

C'mon man. Charging £75 a ticket should be ONE show ONE night! Really don't know what to do - feel like whichever show I pick will be the worse one.

Good to see him back. Too short notice to get baby sitters but at least it's ticketed this time. Progress.

Now release an album!

Would love to be there but a combination of work, kid, and being in Manchester means it's sadly out of the question. Been lucky enough to see him 3 times already in 2014 so I don't feel to bad (until the reports come rolling in, anyway).

Good luck London - have a great couple of shows! Roundhouse is an awesome venue.

As much as I love Prince, I think the pricing point is too high for a two shows a night evening. The demand is there if they can spread the word quickly. I didn't see it in today's Metro though.

The ticketmaster links are now live.

As I suspected the prices are £75 plus £7.50 fees or £85 plus £8.50 fees. There will no doubt be a ticketing charge on top of that too.

Mmm. Seems an awful lot for a show that may be 1hr - 1hr30min.

I'm coming off of a commercial shoot and will be buggered. Anyone know what would be the best SEAT in the house? I'm thinking the second level close to stage? Suggestions welcome...

I thought a few years back he said he'd never use Ticketmaster because of the inflated prices

But the late show is so tempting

Well, I just spoke to the Roundhouse and they said they have a standard licenced curfew of 11pm. They said an application is in for tomorrow night for an extension, but they don't know when/if it will be granted.

I was going to tell them I don't give a fuck, but that would just look like I had mental issues.

One of the arena shows was only 1.5 hours I think wasnt it? Friday night in manchester wasnt much more. I think people for some reason expect him to play for hours on end for every show, when you buy a ticket for someone else, you only tend to get 1.5 hour shows or something anyway so unless he takes the mick and does 45 mins I think your getting what you pay for really. smile

Anything that has 2 shows in 1 night rings alarm bells.....avoid the first show would be my advice. It may not start on time but it WILL be a rush job and you WILL be thrown out on the dot like KOKO.

The full length shows last month redeemed themselves but these just scream of milking the cash cow until it's udders bleed

I agree. Think we're so used to him giving him so much time that anything less seems shortchanged. I am still wondering whether to buy in advance or not or try and get a cheap ticket on the door....

So, advice is to avoid the first show and for the 2nd show, there's no certainty that they can change the 11pm curfew. Mmmmm. Seriously thinking of just leaving it and keep my London Prince 2014 memory sweetly enshrined with the Sheperds Bush gig.

I suspect ticket master will engineer it so show 1 sells out first and will limit the show 2 tickets initially

Let's be sensible. If the curfew is 11, they wouldn't be advertising a 9.45 door for the second show. That would be shite.

I'm getting a seat at the back for the early show. I bet it's gonna be spesh. cool

None of my 'normal' friends can go. So I'll be looking shifty on my own (again) If anyone wants to say hi. Flat cap, very good looking etc. Can't miss me. Very tall, so stand out in a crowd - 5ft 9.
