Hi Pandemonium, thanks for the reply.

Ticketmaster customer services wasn't budging at all on their T&Cs and said the only option left was to offer me refund (which is worthless as we all know as P fans wink. I think it will be a matter of negotiating on the night with the local entry staff. So will just try my luck or forefeit the tickets.

They didn't mention the option of providing a letter. I haven't had any experience of the restrictions at the previous 3EG events so was looking to find out other orgers experiences.

I went the Kings Place gig and that was cash on the door, no ID.

Hey ho, let's see what happens.

Thanks

similar requirement for the Feb Manchester shows (in fact the ID required message was sent out after the tickets were sold). In reality very few meaningful checks were completed by Showsec on the night. As others on here have said, if you sister has your credit card and her photo ID (with the same surname) I can't see she'd have any issues at all (one is her Christian name, the other a Middle name)

Agreed.

They made all this noise at Manchester Academy yet I walked straight in and saw no checks whatsoever.

So got two tickets, row D, 87 and 88. Sounds decent from what I can gather.

Anyone meeting up beforehand?

I still can't print my ticket off from ticketfast, does anyone else have this problem? It's bloody annoying, I hope they do it soon because I won't be near a printer for most of tomorrow, so I'm royally shafted if they don't get their act together soon.

If you are determined for your mates to get in, and it sounds as if you are...

As others have said, ensure that your sister has your credit card, get her to present this 1st. If they then ask for photo ID, make sure she has either your drivers licence or passport, whichever looks most closest to you. After the initial few peeps, I cant imagine each one of 3k people will be checked. Tell them to be confident and maybe get chatting to people in front of them in the Q so they go through as a group! Good Luck and hope they enjoy!

Im on a mad search for my Passport!!

Here ya go prince http://www.timeout.com/lo...nder-a10-1

I saw a very good Fado singer called Claudia Aurora at the Green Note, the folk club mentioned in that article. I hope Prince doesn't notice her and subsequently genericize the fuck out of her like he did Anna Moura. Honestly, when I went to see her in the Barbican she was doing an awfully MOR cover of A Case Of You, wonder who she learnt that one from? (love the song and Prince's cover, just don't think a fadista should be doing it.) So yeah, Prince, stay away from the Green Note, if you know what's good for you. Although at the rate he's charging us I don't think he's gonna be plumping for one of the "things to do in Camden for under a tenner", right? wink

Yeah, I can't print mine off either. Tried phoning Ticketmaster, held on forever so gave up. Now sent a message through their Facebook page. No response yet.

Ticketmaster are saying they will be available to print tonight or tomorrow AM.

I'm getting excited. I haven't seen Prince for......two weeks

biggrin

It certainly is an interesting way of seeing London's iconic music venues...

If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.
