Just a copy/paste.
Ticketmaster seems to have 2 prices now - 72.20 & 135.65
Ticketmaster site always did list those prices, you just had to click on the "price range" link Seating plan has been updated to show standing area, so can't imagine where the £135 seats are...maybe side of stage? [Edited 5/2/14 2:45am] I did at 7:30 this morning and both said £72.20...anyway, not important - it's £72.20 too much P-p-e-n-g-u-i-n......the P is silent |

Have you all seen this plan that was posted earlier.
http://www.mapaplan.com/seating-plan/birmingham-lg-arena-nec-detailed-floor-chart/birmingham-lg-arena-seating-plan.htm
If I have a choice and its not "Best Option" im trying for Blocks 2, 3, 15, 16 or second choice 1 & 17, near to front as possible. Of course.
Yeah looks the best seats. Failing those, the floor looks the better option. . |

I find it hilarious that people are moaning that the prices are high.... 'it wont sell out at this price' blah blah
This is Prince, ok he did us all a favouor at the 21 nights with a special price.
When comparing him to most artists out there half his experience / ability they are charging the same prices as his tickets if not more?
Plus theres no doubt the man will play for hours and any money spent will be worth it, he never disappoints. |

I'd go if it WAS free...but I don't have £72.20 to spend. Spent £70 in Feb,it was too much for me then really but I managed to scrape the money together and queue up for 12 hrs....I was left disappointed by previous standards. So in a nutshell I can't afford to go and, for the first time, I don't feel bothered really. I'm sure it will get rave reviews but so did all of the Hit an Run shows apart from the one I happened to go to...that really was hit n run or smash and grab [Edited 5/2/14 3:15am]P-p-e-n-g-u-i-n......the P is silent |

At these prices this will never sell out
looks to me the majority of the tickets will be £65! Not necessarily convinced it will sell out but it's not going to get cancelled due to low ticket sales.
£65 is the face value, but the agents are already bundling fees to base cost of £72. Then there will be a transaction fee, and there will charge several pounds for the post or the privilage of printing your own. . |

Not just ticketmaster...promoter should have given all info in advance I can only guess £135.65 (which includes booking fees) gets you front few rows to either side of stage...so a good view, but removed from the best place which is always stage front. |

Well, they seem to have dropped the £94 middle price option, so my guess is the £135 will the front stage side blocks and the rest of the area will be £72. . |

Well after 3 gigs where I couldn't go for a piss for 3 hours and being leant on by loads of pissed people, I'm bloody certainly looking for a seat. Not to sit in, but mainly so I can got the bar and the lav 20 minutes before the show starts.
I have enough of queues to last me, well, forever
And yes, I will be 40 in August |

Are standing better than seating ones for LG arena? I haven´t been there before, I would prefer standing, as I like being at the front, but uncertain if there will be golden circle standing tickets? Not sure what I should go for, I hate sitting at gigs, especially if he will bring fans up on the stage again. In case of seating, what are the best ones at LG?
Thank you for any help |

If you are not too short, the floor is a good option at the LG. Cheaper too by the looks of it. It depends if they are having a large golden circle, which hasn't been shown yet, so I'd be surprised if they introduced one. But never say never. . |

Oh I am short, 1.63, usually when I have standing tickets I have to be in the front to see something, but the last time I saw Prince I had Golden Circle standing tickets, and I managed to get in the first line by waiting a few hours before the doors opened. |

Hmm.. I guess the ticketmaster multiple windows open thing will apply here, even for the separate gigs. So be carefull everyone. One ticketmaster page open at a time or they can eliminate you completely. "My God it's full of Stars"

I think it all depends how much space the £135 tickets take up. If they are only a block or two, then seated to the side could be best for you.
I pity the poor soul who will get the furthest seated £135 seat and find themselves next to someone who paid £72. . |

There can't be a standing golden circle or there would be two price options for standing |

That could change when it goes live though. Or they could be released after the initial sale. "My God it's full of Stars"

Yeah looks like it. But they've changed the prices once already, so here is hoping they don't change it in the next 15 mins.
I was at the back seated for the Lovesexy shows and the view was average (even in the round). For the Nude shows I was down the front which was excellent. For the Act II shows I as seated on the sides half way back which was ok at best. . |

I see, so there won´t be golden circle tickets, hmmm. I saw the Amsterdam gig, doesn´t that one on the 25th of May have Golden Circle standing tickets? Or am I wrong, shit, I am now considering buying the seating instead of standing at Birmingham too. But I am also considering going to the one in Amsterdam. |

So are the side blocks not that good? Do you reckon getting to the front of the standing section is just a case of getting there early? I got two sides... and they're both friends. |
