Nah, they're just reporting on her tweet, which was a link to Doc F's post (via SoundCloud) about the Mutiny rehearsal jam.

Because the doc says "we have been waiting to share this with you...", it gets re-intepreted in the article to suggest that Janelle herself was talking about "we" in reference to the rehearsal, as if she was a part of it.

Nothing in that article is confirmation IMO.

It's a nice thought though! Still could be an option, at least for some of the shows...

ATTN ALL FANS! MASSIVE NEWS ALERT!

The next sentence is one I never could have dreamed I would one day utter.

I will be performing on stage with Prince in Australia!

The dates are coming right up in May in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne. It looks like we will be doing some of his classic tunes as an acoustic set, maybe one or two of my original pieces, maybe some surprises! I am so truly honored and humbled to have been invited by him and to have the opportunity to perform in front of his audience.

For those of you who might not be aware, he is really an amazing musician; he plays a variety of instruments extremely well and he has written some of the most memorable tunes of our time. He is surrounded by a bit of mystery so I also wanted to tell you that he treated me with incredible respect and kindness through this entire process.

This means a lot to me both personally and professionally. How could I have ever seen this coming? Not in a million years. But, I am eternally grateful for how things are going in my life and I could not be where I am today without all of you.

Thank you so much and I hope to finally see a bunch of you Aussies real soon!

^^Yep, Andy McKee will be part of the main concert.

As for support acts, looks like it will be Delilah (not sure if she's opening for every concert though).

Assuming they don't happen to be a big Delilah fan, Lust's friend (going back to the OP) should be fine

A friend of mine said he saw him last night signing it at the port maquarie rsl. He ordered a chicken parmigiana and a pot of James Boags. I can't verify this though.

I heard it was the eggplant parma and Coopers Pale...

I can guarantee that Fdeluxe will not be supporting prince in australia.. and same goes for 07.

prince likes to make out he is friends with them all.. and seeing they are all doing so well for themselves and he wont let them use their original names .. he is working hard to take the limelight back off their hard work.

If it's Delilah, I hope she isn't going to be doing those "campbell's cash and carry" ads !!!
