Yeah, its not posted on TM anymore. I guess it didn't work out. I was fuming for a moment because it would be a lot closer and cheaper for me to go to SJ than LA. Guess I'm glad I got my LA tix.

Well, I guess the Prince ass kissers have an excuse. "There was no notarized docutment saying all 21 Nights had to be in LA."

As much as I love him, Prince pulls crap like this time and time again. He should come out with a new album called "The Truth: I won't tell it." Of course, even if he did, I'd pay for it.

Although he has already booked 16 shows in LA.

My guess is they are waiting to see if the Sharks win or lose tonight.

A loss means he could do Friday, Saturday which would probably sell better than a Thurs, Sat

The HP Pavlion has a hockey game on the 20th. I doubt they are going to set up the stage and then break it down and then set it up again. I hope he does play

So. Stupid.

If they are going to do the set-up/break down, set-up/break down, why not do it around the Friday Gig at the Forum next week?

I checked it out last night on Ticketmaster.com and saw it there myself. I told my family out there now it doesn't show on line anymore....????????

Actually, it was listed last night about 1030Pm with sales starting at 12 noon Friday the 13th. I agree with jaynoonan, they are waiting for tonights outcome of the San Jose Sharks playoff game. Prince has no scheduled shows in L.A. next week.

Even if it was posted in error, I can't imagine there is nothing to it. If it said Prince was playing Kansas next weekend, I might believe someone was testing out the updating template or someone was in training (or a variation like that), but for the listing to read Nor Cal when he is down south on a weekend where nothing is announced for the Forum...something is likely at least in the planning stages. Whether or not it comes to fruition...

I'm really hoping Nor Cal happens. The buzz from L.A. has been very positive overall and I imagine ticket sales would be fairly healthy based on that alongside the Bay's love for Prince. I'm really hoping if HP doesn't work out, he's down to do a few intimate gigs up here. We have so many amazing small venues I'm sure the shows would be tremendous. Prince at the New Parrish in Oakland...there are no words.

With all that said, it is very strange given the hockey situation people have mentioned he'd be doing it at HP given that a similar type of conflict that exists at the Forum (i.e. Rammstein show in between two dates) appears to be going on up here. But I have fingers crossed a venue works out.

I hope there's something to it too. My family isn't willing to travel to see him like I am, but they're excited about the possibility of there being local shows next week. To have the opportunity to see him at home in the Bay Area (again) and then to have LA to look forward to over Memorial Day weekend... well, this will be the best month of May EVER.

I actually think he will do all 21 shows in LA, but I would not put it past him to change his mind. We all know he has done that before, and will again.

I too believe he will finish up the 21 show run in LA. I'm just hoping he comes up north for a weekend in between the run. I'm planning on traveling down south for shows at the end of the run, but wouldn't argue with a nice little weekend in between.
