I bought them on stubhub- I didn't want to risk the chance of not getting them- I'm travelling from Portland,Oregon to come see a string of shows. Plan is to see Sacramento, Fresno & both San Jose shows.

Anyone have any ideas how much the VIP packages are going for in San Jose?

I'm officially there on the 21st Gonna be popping some purple cherries this show, as well, that's always exciting.

Not the bets seats, but it's facing the symbol, and hey, you get what you pay for. Maybe some free upgrades will be handed out?

Got Floor 1 for Thursday and Section 114 for Saturday... unfortunately, not for $25, though See everyone there!

That's what I am hoping for too. Taking my kids (first time) Section 205 Hate upper level but I had floor for 2 Oakland shows....

got a ticket for the 21st, upper level.

I'm going to the Saturday show. I got Section 115 (which is the section I was targeting for), row 15. At the Oakland show, we had floors seats behind the stage, but lucked out big time, because Security allowed us to run up to the "VIP" section for the sampler set and the last 2 encores. We were LITERALLY touching the stage where Prince was playing the piano. Most awesome experience ever!

Anyone taking public transportation? Cause when I checked Caltrain and any busses leaving the station, the last bus leaves at 11:00 p.m. from San Jose at the station and then you have to transfer to BART. Not like the Oakland concerts where the last BART left right at the Oracle at midnight... Anyone know of any other public transportation that leaves later on the 21st from San Jose? I can't find any. Guess I'll have to miss SJ since I don't have a car!

i don't know of any public trans that leaves later.

HP Pavillion shows: Question - I just bought "Purple Pit" tickets for 1 of the shows and on stubhub.com, the ticket description was "Purple Pit" floor tickets, but when I downloaded them to print them out, they just said : Section : FLRGA , Row: G4 Seat :10 - I called stubhub to verify this, they claimed even the supervisor said that these are the correct tickets- I'm travelling to see this & I'd like to avoid any misstep that I hear so much about on this board in regards to ticket drama- Any info in this would be much appreciated.

You do have Purple Pit tickets, ie, General Admission. The General Admission tickets have seat assignments but they are meaningless. Hope this helps.

Does anyone have any idea as to who is opening for him, or if he'll have an opening act? Graham Central Station again?

Wondering if anyone has tips on getting good (lower level, 100s) seats: Is it better to keep trying over & over online or call a live person?

Also, who thinks the SJ shows will sell out before Weds., not like the many LA shows where you can get $25 Loge tickets hours before showtime? I'm hoping there will be lower level seats for cheaper in a few days (wishful thinking!?)

Got tickets to Fresno (sec. 107 Row A seats 4 & 5)

San Jose Thurs. (Purple Pit)

San Jose Sat. (Floor 1 Row 17 seats 9 & 10)

These will be my 1st Welcome 2 America shows- My 40th birthday & crossing my fingers for Sacramento and/or Fillmore show. I'm so excited I can't sleep- this is seriously overwhelming.

I have a car, but I'd rather take public transportation. Ahh Bay Area transit...always a struggle.

Got the $90 GA for Saturday, I assume that means I'm near the O of the stage.

I have an extra ticket for the 5/21 San Jose show. Section 115 row 24. The person I thought was going to be able to go with me can't. Face value of course. I'll likely be driving since I don't know all the ins and outs of Caltrain since I have not lived out here that long and don't want to risk being stuck.

I have been sick for a few days and I think it is wise (though unfortunate) to sell my ticket for the Thursday show (hopefully I will be feeling better for the Saturday show...!) . Here are the details: Floor 1, row 4. Only have one ticket. Selling it for face value, $305. This is part of the "VIP Welcome 2 America". Will give other goodies that come with the ticket (laminate pass, commemorative ticket, not sure what the other items are..). Send me a note if you'd be interested in buying it.
