The sound system seem much louder & clearer than any of the other shows I been 2. Especially during one of Prince's guitar solos.. will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P.

Classic...
I used to talk baseball with my dad and I thought one of my boys would be into it. Well, ever since I took my 13 year to the 4/22 show, we now talk Prince. I took him back to the 5/7 show.
He told me I need to keep taking him until he hears LRC!

That's Darklotus in the red hat above.

Yeah, it's definitely not Funkenberry. Whos is Darklotus? Just a fan and blogger who's gotten on Prince's good side?

Okay, kind of figured that. He's been on stage numerous times singing PTFMWB at Prince concerts.

Don't know anything about him or what is his connection but here is his Twitter profile: http://twitter.com/#!/darklotus69
Ain't hating on him; it was entertaining for sure and I don't know how I would react if Prince pulled me up onstage to play guitar behind him...he held it down.

I didn't notice that...and I've paid attention to and commented on the sound system since opening night. The volume had been increased the week before last to an uncomfortable level but it felt like it had been restored to a better one on Friday night. I'm curious...where were you seated? My experience has been that the best location to appreciate the PA is in the mid to upper loge area near rows M/N.

Question,
Are FunkDr and DrFunkenBerry the same person? Sorry if this question has been asked/answered before. Just curious to know... Next time you pull a card, it better be an ace, mothaf*cka, you could lay--face DOWN!

why is it always so-and-so 69? Is 69 like a cool number or something? Or does this guy just like it that way? or just maybe it's his date of birth? But he looks too young to be in his forties. [Edited 5/15/11 16:52pm]

What was that taken with?

was seated in Loge 1 row M right in front of the arrow. Damn good seats. rather sit up a level than on the floor. U get a better view of the stage and everything. The sound was extremely louder 2 me. But like it that way. heard everything. The hQ was very crisp.
Prince was very on point that night. The per4mance was very crisp, clean & professional. Especially the ballad portion of Insaitable/Scandalous/Adore, Prince was alone & handled every note & pitch perfectly, until he was royally lowered under the stage. That point after Stevie left the stage. It was magical... am addicted 2 going 2 The Forum. am goin 2 need rehab like Whitney when ts over with...lol will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P.

Poor Whitney...
I was in Loge 28 which is perpendicular to the mid-point of the stage where Prince's mic is stationed. Previous shows I've been on the floor, risers and usually loges 28-33. By far my favorite vantage point is in the loges although being on the floor was very, very cool re distance from P & the stage and space (my girl loves to dance as if she's at the club so the extra space was appreciated).
I appreciate this mini-break to recharge my batteries but I will definitely be back. Only nine shows remaining and when it's over, it's over...probably will never see anything like this again. It's been a special run...the quality, consistency, artistry have been incomparable IMO. Maybe the greatest extended engagement by an artist at a single venue ever..? I don't know but I do believe this will be looked upon as historic when all is said and done.

I was sitting in Riser seats when a woman walked up and asked me if I wanted to move to a VIP table. Heck Yeah! It was crappy section 4 but I didn't care, no interest in getting on stage. It was very cool. _______________________________________________

Hello everyone - Anyone get a video of the entire "play that funky music white boy" segment of the show? In the very beginning of the song, my white mug was dancing on the big screen. I would love to get a copy of it, it possible. Thanks!! (this was my 5th show, crazy good and funky) [Edited 5/20/11 10:38am]
