This will be #5 and will also probably be my last. The only reason I decided on tonight is that it's Mr. Wonder's b'day. If there was any day he'd show up as a surprise guest, this would seem like a good one.

Geez, the Forum is in Inglewood, not South Central L.A. I went to 3 shows there and never had any problem with anyone there. | |

Here's hoping for more Prince tracks and fewer covers tonight...! Lose Play that Funky Music, Inglewood Swingin', Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin) and replace with ANY Prince tracks. He has so many great tracks that it pains me to hear him repeatedly doing cuts from "Time-Life Party Tracks Collection". [Edited 5/13/11 12:07pm] | |

You should be safe if you stick to the Forum or park in one of the nearby businesses on Manchester... I parked in the Lucy's Landromat which is a 24 hour place and the owners are there the whole time. It's a short walk to the forum from there and there are a lot of people around. | |

I agree. You will be fine...... Park inside the forum parking lot. I do not suggest parking outside the lot and walking. Not a good idea especially if you are by yourself. Better safe than sorry.

I've been to 2 Forum shows alone and will be going to 3 more. I would encourage you to go--you can get there when you want, leave when you want, and just focus on the show. I actually prefer it to going with friends who are only casually interested.
And I never felt unsafe. | |

I'm from So Cal. About 20 min from the forum. Female. So I'm telling all the ladies out there:
you are not gonna get robbed by any scary black or mexican man on target as soon as you step out the car. However, Inglewood is A BIG INNER CITY. BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY. Please don't walk far, away from crowds, or park OUTSIDE THE FORUM. I would say the same thing if it was at a more prominent place like the stapled center. Honda/arrowhead pond?...not so much. (Esoteric so cal inside joke...ignore)
That said, I'll see ya'll there tonight I will be tweeting and twit piccin. agging everything #Prince and maybe #Org just for ya'll. | |

Seems like really great day-of cheap seats are harder to come by this week... All the loge offerings are 'behind' the stage... Of course, I think all the Forum seats are not so bad -- just psyched to be going. |

Yes, yes, ya'll and it don't stop. Show #5 for me 2nite. Going with the former Prince virgin who will be attending her 3rd show in the series (I went to the other 2 with her too). I'm good if I can just hit one show a weekend but I would have LOVED the Troubadour show so I'm hoping he'll do some of that stuff although I know arena and small venue is an entirely dif vibe. I'd LOVE to hear the Marley stuff 2nite that he did at Troubadour (which was the anniversay of Marley's death). Ahhh, I don't care. Just glad I'm going. See ya'll Purple Party people 2nite and (even tho we're getting kinda sick of it) we'll be Inglewood Swinging! Mmm, I hope he's nasty as he wanna be 2nite. | |
