Pelouse (in green) and Catégorie 2 (also in green on the map) seats are available for 35 euros today. Carré or (Golden tickets) will go on sale tomorrow morning at 111 euros.

Any word on "Pelouse Or Debut" tickets?

it seems golden ring is only in the lower seats near the stage sides?

Plus looks like there is going to be a supporting act eek

18h00 : Ouverture des portes

19h30 : 1ère partie

21h00 : concert de Prince

No.

Expect tickets to be sold off at at least half price closer to the date;

Or cancellation?

Maybe rescheduled first.

Or moved physically to a nearby smaller venue.

BTW: What happened to resaplus.ch?

And what will happen to the promotor of the Stade de France show if the show gets delayed, moved, etc?

Spoke this morning to a friend who works at Fnac ....in the shops at least she says there is nearly zero interest in the show.

Let us hope all the fans are busy on internet!

Loads of tickets available in every category though if you do a search........

I am hoping the show will be moved to Bercy.

I wonder how many of the 5000 tickets at 35E Rtl were selling a few days ago were bought.

Generally,Looking at the seating charts it looks like half of the SDF,from the stage and back ,

would be empty anyway.

Doesn't that means they should sell more like 40-50000 tickets to "fill" the place instead of the un-heard-of 80000 seats avalable?

Anyway bercy is not free at the 30th of June confused

Any other places you can think of?

It would be very strange if prince will not be able to sell 1 big concert in paris,as the fan base is usually big in france to my knowledge.

I have checked online concerning the "pelouse or", on the 27th, there wasn't any availability, it was sold out, that's why I eventually bought seats "carré or".. I know that people do buy via internet!!!

colleagues of min have bought theit 35 € ticks via RTL's link online (a french radio)

As i'm not in favour of large stadium gigs my self, I did went on you tube etc to check your statment and looked for other reviews of the venue.

I must say what i found was not so different from any other stadium show i've been to.

Sure it's not THE place to see a live concert, but it really all depends on the sound man and gear.

I've been to small venues that sounded like shit a few times before smile

Why are you so negative about the SDF? How many shows have you benn to over there?

Seems odd that the place is so bad,Yet all major bands preform there.

My concern is more for weather this show will take place at all?

There are no prices given, and we are 4 days before ticket sales start,

The place is much too big for prince these days (unless free tickets gonna fly around from RTL)

I'll be REALLY surprised if they gonna fill the place in a month of ticket sales.

Yet i guess it would be nice to see prince playing for 80000 people,if the do make it after all.

Any word from locals on prices? seating arrangments?

Thanks

G

I've been to four gigs at the SDF and each time I've sworn never to go back....although the Muse show last year was the best of a bad lot.

For the above show I was on the field but I had friends would had category 2 seats at the back otf the stadium where the sound was bouncing all over the place.

I also recall a particulary bad Madonna show where the stage was too low and even I , at 6ft 2, had trouble seeing her mime.

I'm really afraid that Prince just won't cut it at the SDF...he's not going to spend money on something spectacular ( like Muse or U2) and I don't think there will be 80 000 people interestd in paying between 50€ and 100 ( if not more) to see him play Let's Go Crazy ( again).

That sort of interest is going to the Black Eyed Peas and Lady Ga Ga these days.

I may be proven wrong but I'm not sure I want to take the chance.....dommage

Why do so many bands perform there?? Because promoters book them in, in the hope of making a max of money.

Yup, completely agree, horrible venue, even more horrible for prince. Who doesn't use lasers and holographic dildos.

At Fnac Saint Germain, she says there has been no interest.

I personally haven`t carried out a survey.

After that, believe what you want.

On schkopi.com, they announce only 14000 tix sold in four days. They need at least 40000 people to cover their expenses. Knowing that Prince is touring all over Europe, it will be very difficult for him to avoid canceling this show. I got tix as well for this concert but I'm not sure it is going to happen. confused

14.000 is not bad at all !!!

i would be surprised if he would sell 40000 tickets. Almost impossible.

And if he sells them, Some of the lower and upper tiers will be covered....This will not give a good atmosphere...The stadium is a good location when it is sold out. Last year U2 gave a show with about 80.000 spectators...

It is far from being impossible. 80000 is a different story. The problem is that he is multiplying the dates throughout Europe in big venues. Everyday, there is a new gig announced. So less people are likely to travel to see him in Paris.

Hi,

There were some posts here regurding the sound quality at the SDF.

Here is a quote from Schkopi.com you might find interesting:

Translate:

Hello to all, as a result of a conversation with Michael Delosio, from BACKSTAGE (

one of the suppliers sono SdF),

it would appear that the sound at the concert will not rotten at all, as i feared in my previous posts.

In effect, there will be a provision in 6 clusters, spaces of 20m each, each with its own line of delay ...

in short, the dissemination at the top of the top according to his account, of what is possible to make the SdF: no reverb through this.

original post:
