There is a record release party at the Troubadour tonight for Tyler The Creator. Not sure when it starts. Prince could possibly play after it's done.

Saw this: @drfunkenberry Interesting that he played @wiltern during Hit and Run tour, and Wiltern has moved tonight's show to the HOB, no?

this happens more often than you'd think, due to poor ticket sales. plus, its a livenation venue, which if the other rumors are correct, would be odd.

just called the palladium too. the guy had no clue and said something about him playing the forum. he thought i called the wrong venue.

He said there was no show there tonight. He volunteered that Prince was not playing there before I even asked. I asked about the band that was supposed to be playing tonight and he said the decision to move to the HOB was done several weeks ago. He was nice but you could tell he was a little irritated. I guess a bunch of Prince fans have been calling.

Has anyone here ever been to a secret show? How far in advance were the details finally released?

I don't think if you call a place they're going to tell you if he's playing... it's supposed to be a surprise

i agree, but you can tell a lot in the reaction of the question. for instance when i spoke to the palladium, the dude thought that i meant to call the forum.
