Trying to find a secret Prince gig is kind of like a scavenger hunt! I just hope they give out enough clues for people to actually have a chance to show up at the right place eventually!

god that would be insane. i absolutely HATE that venue. it can be a clusterf*ck with smaller bands, let alone thousands of purple people trying to get into a 400 person club. not to mention kicking all the people out for the record release party.

I saw Tom Petty there about 3 years ago with his high school band "Mudcrutch". I can't even imagine Prince packed into that tiny place.

Frustrating. I cleared time to travel to LA from SF for The Forum this week which wasn't easy & almost bought airfare (thank god i didn't). But now he drives me crazy because he's now decided to give aftershows with probably cash at the door only scenarios. I'm happy for the LA peeps but damn I want to be there for these...

no, i haven't and i have no clue if he'd say for sure. but, i've wanted to go to one of these secret shows so badly for so long, i'd kick myself if i had the chance and skipped out.

If it is at the Troubadour it won't be till late because there is already a secret free show going on there tonight with Tyler the Creator.

There is a band called System X that is playing at HOB tonight. They were supposed to be at the Wiltern but the venue was moved.

I'll bet Prince and the band don't even know where they are playing yet. Prince probably just decided he feels like playing a club gig somewhere tonight and his people are scrambling to find someplace available that's willing to host at such short notice! (Too bad he doesn't have Glam Slam LA anymore!)

House of blues is a live nation venue so thats out.

my guess is that the celebs know about it and so do his friends

we will be the last to know and it will be a few hundred bucks if we want to get in, and only a few of us will be let in
