I have another number, a 070 number : )))) and no, the people at Ticketservice cannot get in the system, so no selling at this moment.
so this is what it's like to watch the grass grow - I love you Prince all the way to the 9's
(I know, it's not his fault - but he is the reason I am looking at a blue consolidation bar that just won't move and with the promise it leads me nowhere - )

Aha, they're not happy you got that number! Let's all call them on THAT number!
In the Netherlands you can call the Ticketservice order line on 0900 3001250 (probably void from outside the Netherlands, then it shoud be: 00 31 900 3001250), costs 0,45 eurocents a minute. There are no other official selling channels then this telephone line or the Ticketmaster.nl website. The shops that sell regularly for Ticketbastard don't sell for the Prince concerts. I just paid about 8 euro's for waiting in line: there is a breakdown, people from Ticketmobster are working on it but they can't give any estimate on how long it is going to take. The problem is with the sales for the plus tickets as well as the stand alone Prince tickets. If sales are up again telephone and web will start again at the same time. The telephone people don't take orders at this moment. According to the girl I spoke with the breakdown took place almost immediately after 10.00 (CEST) and she thought only a few tickets had been sold. Cause of the problem is probably not the amount of tickets that are being sold but the huge demand.

Something funny just happened. I called a ticketing-hotline and... they were able to sell tickets. In fact I was given that number by live nation in the Netherlands. The lady even asked whether I wanted to be standing or being seated. Finally she told me that I'll only be able to pick up the tickets at the box-office... Knowing how often the funny little fellow is canceling shows, I refused, because I'm not willing to having to go to Rotterdam to return my tickets. I called live nation again and they seemed puzzled about this, since they can't get into the ticketing system. They told me that they don't know when the sale is going to start again.

Just confirms how lousy Livenation/Ticketservice really are......c'mon....they shoulda seen this comin!!!! Why did they not involve the post office & Free Record Shops?

I am really cracking up here! By now I find it all very amusing!! I bet Prince would get a kick out of this, too, if he could watch us all do the same thing right now!! haha

Wegens technische problemen bij TicketMaster in heel Europa verloopt de ticketverkoop erg moeizaam, onze excuses hiervoor. Er volgt zo snel mogelijk meer nieuws.
Because of technical difficulties with TicketMaster in Europe, the ticketsales are going very difficult at the moment, our apologies. Soon more news will be available.

Huge demand for Prince tickets ... that is something good, after all.
And the ticket sale situation somehow fits with Prince being against the Internet, as well as Live Nation etc ...
