I went to the antwerp 20ten show alone as no-one wanted to/ could come along on such short notice but I am REALLY glad I did! Met some nice people in line and saw one of the best Prince shows I ever saw!

I have the izod show and met some wonderful ppl!

I always go by myself, except for a couple of times, and its so much fun. First off, you will always meet some other fans right around you that are fun to chat and dance with. Secondly, you don't need your friends there anyways, cause you are there to dance and have fun, you will want all your attention on Prince anyways. Unless they are as big a fan as you, they will be a downer on the evening. I just have fun when I go alone and am in my own little world, when Prince takes the stage, the rest of the world disappears! lol

my first Prince concert I went with a friend - from NZ to Aussie for the D&P tour in '92...it was fantastic...11 years later I flew back to the same venue for the 'post ONA/pre-Musicology' Oz tour in sydney....I met up with a group of 'like-minded' aussies and another NZer before and after the show but was by myself during performances...IMHO the soundcheck and show was even better cos I was at both by myself and I didn't have to talk to anyone and just listen/watch!!! caught up my new friends after the show and went to the afterparty - prince showed up and was 2 feet away from me but didn't perform that night .....best part was being front row centre for the soundcheck - and no-one bugging me by talking LOL....for the 'hits' tours he's doing nowdays I dunno if I'd want to go by myself...I'd like to take my wife (she's never been to a Prince show) and kids cos I think the way the shows are now - I've kinda seen it all before and it would be more fun with people round me now....

Yes, I've gone to several concerts by myself. I've found that it's much easier to get a better seat!
